I used to have AT&T. I had nothing but problems with them. And they would get angry whenever I called and blame my internal wiring and threaten to bill me for the service calls if they could not find the problem on their end. One day I saw their tech working on the box at the end of my street and stopped to talk to him. He told me, RATS would get into their box and build nests, urinate and chew on the wires and that was affecting EVERYONE on my street. I asked how long that had been going on and he said he had been out here to clean them out 4 times that year. I no longer have AT&T but I do get kick when one of their salespersons knocks on my door or calls. I tend to rant a bit like Holden.

It may be a minor thing to some people, but I appreciate that Ethan’s wife is still alive and on good terms with him despite the fact that they couldn’t stay together for her safety’s sake. No manufactured drama, no off-screen death, just rational decision making on their part. And they managed to turn a predictable trope into a decent little twist.

Originally, Ving Rhames was supposed to reprise his role in the film, but a pay dispute between him and the studio prevented this and he was written out. During filming, early footage was not coming back how the studio had hoped and they brought Christopher McQuarrie, who had worked on the Cruise's film "Valkyrie" and was writing/directing "Jack Reacher," come in to doctor the script. He was shocked to find that both Luther was never mentioned and Ethan's wife had died off screen, so he wrote in the ending to explain that Luther was away watching over his wife after her death was faked. He also fleshed out Jeremy Renner's role. The original concept was that Renner could have been a mole within IMF and after the success of "The Hurt Locker" and being a lead in the upcoming "Avengers" movie, Paramount was considering having Renner take over the M:I franchise and phasing out Cruise (thus why it was called "Ghost Protocol" rather than "M:I-4," if they were to use it as a soft reboot). The movie was a big hit and McQuarrie teamed up again with Cruise on "Edge of Tomorrow." He ended up directing and co-writing the 5th M:I film, then directed and wrote entirely the 6th film. Now he is finishing up the 7th and 8th film.

For me Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol was more of a turning point in the franchise. It’s the first MI where it actually feels like a ensemble team movie rather than Tom Cruise + team. It’s also directed by Brad aBird who is an animation director originally, and as a result a great visual storyteller. Look at the sandstorm chase sequence for example, it’s such an amazing piece of cinematic storytelling using the visuals and zero dialogue, and so easy to follow. Just amazing work.

Finally, its here, the reaction to my favorite Mission Impossible Movie by far and before I watch I just want to say that I am glad you guys are enjoying the Mission Impossible Franchise and I hope you guys enjoy this one, also one cool fact before I watch the video, while filming this movie, Tom Cruise himself actually got to do the skyscraper scene to be shot IRL, no green screen or anything and with critical planning and perfect execution, you get one of best scenes in all of Mission Impossible.

@@cavaughngrace1488 Well, Tom Cruise is known for his own stunts in the Mission Impossible Movies and almost all of them are very dangerous because another example was the final fight scene in Mission Impossible 2 the knife that headed straight to Ethan Hunt's eye, that was a real knife directly near Tom Cruise's eye and that scene was carefully shot together to capture the intense moment where you think Tom Cruise would get stabbed in the eye. And honestly I am still impressed that after how many Mission Impossible Movies, he still does his own dangerous stunts.

    Came out near Christmas 2011.
    Major upgrade for the franchise.
    One of my favorite sequels.
    Saw it in IMAX.
The first live-action feature by animation legend, Brad Bird (The Incredibles, Ratoutoulle and The Iron Giant).
From part 3 onward, these sequels stay fully connected (thanks to J.J. Abrams as producer).
From part 4 onward, they utilize IMAX technology for core visual scenes.
This one definitely proved that Cruise is one of the best actors to ever do action period.
The cast (IMF, villains) was great.
Jeremy Renner was super busy between MI-4, the MCU and the Bourne franchise.
Not too many 4th installments are this good.

'Rogue Nation' has a wider story arc and adds some extremely interesting characters. Plus there's just more of...everything...from this point on. Gadgets, stunts, action, suspense, missions, etc. Christopher McQuarrie is the best thing to happen to these movies behind the camera. They really did well using the Burj Khalifa stunt climb as a selling point. Everybody went insane when they released those set photos, especially that one rehearsal climb where Cruise sat at the very top of the tower for a photo op. Every other film since then has had a big stunt, but this one stood above the rest just for being the prime sign of Cruise's team's dedication to the franchise. Everything else that followed, while being equally impressive, was "just" a fulfillment of that initial promise.

MI - 7.5/10 (memorable moments and great directing)
MI2 - 5/10 (so over the top and stupid)
MI3 - 8/10 (it had better plot, characters and was full of emotions overall)
    MI4 - 9/10 (the most impossible mission)

For movies kinda hard to do that level of intensity.
    It's IMPOSSIBLE
    *mission Impossible theme starts playing

One thing about Ethan Hunt Character is, he's a Agent and not a assassin's own by agency.. What ever mission he got, he analyze every single route.. If the agency wants someone death or catch, he's not gonna directly 100% follow the orders, he's gonna investigate if the person really guilty or somebody in the agency/government used their power/rank to manipulate/fullfil their own agenda..

Mission impossible is the rare franchise that actually improves as it goes forward. I really like all of them

As the fan that commented said, this is when Mission Impossible takes off (By the way, as far as the 1st one, I agree about the 1st one, it was special).
This movie was fun, but now my two favorites are about to come, can't wait to see you reacting to those two.

Idk if you guys will get the reference, but I saw a meme of the scene where Ethan is running from the sandstorm, comparing it to when you’re playing a battle royale game and the circle is closing 😂

Hard to start a franchise off at a 10, would love to see you guys breakdown the entire run and see most memorable moments ranked.

Idea for helping get to sleep - audiobooks.
I have trouble getting to sleep, too. I've found that playing audiobooks does the job better than TV. Although, it has to be one that I've already listened to. Otherwise, I don't want to miss the story and stay awake to listen to it. I listen to audiobooks instead of the radio, so there's always another one added to my finished list to choose from. A favourite of mine that I like to use is The Martian, by Andy Weir.

It was the guy from the first one. He was also in die-hard. ( first terrorist killed) and he was the main henchmen in a bond movie. ( the living daylights) 80s
