The risk assessment lies at the core of risk management and a clear risk assessment process is key to this. Without a clear understanding of the risks faced, none of the other risk management activities can be undertaken leaving the organization unprepared and reactive, instead of prepared and proactive.
This session outlines a basic four-phase risk assessment process that can be used for most non-technical assessments and it is a model that is simple to use but one that still produces robust, useable results.
