Went through this with my first grade teacher. It’s an awful feeling knowing that an adult just hates you and you don’t even know why. Nothing you say or do is right and all you want to do is make them happy. This lady had the audacity to tell my mom that I wasn’t ever going to amount to anything because I was having trouble learning to read. Found out the next year that I was dyslexic because I had a super amazing teacher that sat with me after school. He had experience with teaching kids with special needs, and was really kind and patient. I was reading at a post college level by fifth grade.

Adults forget what kids are capable of. You may not think a 14/15 year old boy can kill and rape, but they can. I was in a physically abusive relationship around that age too, which culminated in a sexual assault. It is such a horror to have your sexual debut be forced upon you. Why would she apologize to them about how she was acting unless she was just having a bad trip. Also said something about a doctor saying she will get addicted . This is so crazy. Social media has really jacked up so many generations. When I was 14 we went to the movies or the mall on the weekends. We didn't have this level of crazy. We definitely were not in sexually active and abusive relationships. I truly feel for this poor girl. Absolute insanity.

It's so disturbing and heart wrenching how cruel people can be. There's no limit.

I’m sorry but her parents failed her too. The things she went trough, the people she got herself involved in… How can you not know? The mental and sexual abuse by multiple people, no safety net, no one to tell her that’s she’s worth more. She deserved more. Every adult in her life failed her, but her parents the most if you ask me.

That fact that her naked body was sent around and her mother allowed her to go out with her friends.... I'm so deeply disturbed.

Especially cuz the lottery was for underprivileged children... Obviously there will be some students who didn't get the best education

I wish I could be this girl's friend, and would have been back then so I could have protected her. This shit is insane and preventable if people around her had an ounce of empathy.
