I made this project, it is wonderful, good quality Audio, it doesn't need external antenna, reflex radio comes from 1914 and is attractive until now. Thanks for this good design, i plan to add LM386 audio amp and use it as a diy desktop radio in my room.

Thanks for appreciation. I am also going to make a radio frequency amplifier for him. It will be with inductive coupling (transformer). The radio will have superior qualities.

    Howdy.
    Absolutely wonderfully simple schematic ...

Each transistor is doing double duty due to filtering and signal feedback which also establishes bias of both transistors. This was done in the early days of tubes.

I made this reflex receiver and it worked very well , follow the schematic which is at 0:11

Schematic seems wrong to me. C3 should connect to Q2 collector or it will short RF output to ground. R2 should be lower value.

      You are vigilant. 👍
The correct scheme is here: minute 0:11

Does it also work with shortwave if you decrease the inductance with an air core?

It's not commonly called reflex receiver. It's not even regenerative. Just a simple forward 1V1. Nothing spectacular...

It's a simple reflex radio. A construction for amateurs.

    • @hamzahtechnical5470

It is audio regenerative, because audio is fedback to the input , when audio is fedback to input it is called reflex receiver.

@hamzahtechnical5470 okay I realize that there was a linguistic misunderstanding. Thanks for the clarification 😀
