As for my surprise about the spacers, I was erroneously under the impression that I was doing the rebuild at the New Atlantis Ship Services so I thought I was in Jemison airspace...lol

No, it's not you, ship building on console sucks. I have Starfield on UGP, so I can also play on my PC. I will do that and use my keyboard/mouse for ship building.
Beautiful, and reminds me to eat more green beans! I tend to go all particle beams because I'm too challenged to start with lasers and follow with missiles.

I found ship building addicting. Majority of my Starfield time in last 5 days I spent in ship builder menu. I overhauled my ship 3 times, spent another 80.000 credits. I even did some XP farming on level 55 world to get Ship Builder rank 2 to get 34 energy core and to boost the shield capacity. Tacticus is broke but very happy with the new upgraded Pytel Mk 4 'do-it-all' elegant starship. If only I can get rid off those 3 miners/squatters that got stuck on my ship through some mission glitch... 🙃
Oh, I forgot - and no ladders on Tacticus' Pytel Mk 4!

At 5:35 you placed your missile launchers right behind your projectors. Shouldn’t the missiles wreck the projectors the first time they fire? Otherwise love your content.
You could easily switch one of the living quarters to a control station to get 4 more crew. And I agree with partial beam.. when I can, I switch both my first two weapons as particle beams. My favorite is the vanguard particle beams (if you have completed the vanguard uc faction quest) you can 6 of those particle beams on one slot.
That's a sick ship, you should call it the Verdant Wasp! Or Greener on the other side, or how about The Greenstar?

Star Eagle always was to big for me. Your Star Eagle II is absolutely great. Btw i also don't like the original cockpit ;) Will try do this creation on my new playthrough. Great video man

Star Eagle comes default with space for a crew of 5 - where did your upgrades impact it to change the crew to 2?

Dont get why you have 21 ly in jump range and I dont.
The Astrodynamics skill increases the grav jump range as well as fuel efficiency. Upgrading a Grav drive will also increase grav jump.
