Howdy! Cool to see you try this game, it's been pretty neat in co-op. Just a couple tips: picking stuff up and opening doors, chests and grabbing keys generates "heat". At a certain point, it spawns monsters. I'm guessing the monsters' variants depend on chosen difficulty and heat accumulated. Besides that clown, some special monster variants either have a bigger health pool, has heat-seeking projectiles - or both. There's also surgeons, the faceless (mancubus equivalent)and melee faceless (greyer-skinned). Perhaps there's more. Anyway, prioritize targets and manage ammo/hp. On clearing the game (also pick up card pieces, one in each section - for extra loot (keyed?)) you can get some gear. From character-based mods that determine starting weapon and its stats to weapon mods and a tactical or magnum kit for pistol and similar stuff for the rest - it's going to be of great help. Tactical increases critical rate and sometimes it's what you need - to retain or increase firerate and the ammo pool OR go with Magnum which reduces ammo pool and magazine, fire-rate in return for greater damage. If you want more of the festive experiences, why not try DooM 1-2 WADs with gameplay mods, using either GZDooM (solo, good visuals) or Zandronum (online co-op / Versus) sourceports? Some of the mods include Siren, Soundless Mound, Trench Foot, Countrycide, Splatterhouse3D, Castlevania: Simon's Destiny, BlooM, Fear & Loathing DBP 28, Unloved and also Unloved 2 Beta (unfinished). Unloved can get quite slaughter-y. Then there's gameplay mods such as Brutal DooM ( +Hell on Earth pack) and its branch, Project Brutality. For standalone mods using GZDooM, I'd recommend would be Solace Dreams (voxels galore, some Silent Hill and at least one world has Souls inspiration), Total Chaos (survival, item management, weapon durability, amazing graphics), Divine Frequency (soulslike upgrade system, item management, stats-based choices).. There's probably more horror-oriented mods, but that's all I remember. Otherwise, there's Eviternity 1-2, Winter's Fury, Ashes 2063 +Ashes: Afterglow In any case, have a good day and the rest of sp00ktober. :)
Wow thank you so much for that. I was just looking for a somewhat spooky looking game to play since it's October. I definitely enjoyed this game a lot. But I had no idea there was so much strategy that went into the play though. Thanks for the tips. I definitely need to look more into my initial loud out. I haven't tried GZDoom. It looks really fun. I grew up playing the Original doom throughout the 90s and it's one of my favorite games. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have an amazing week!
oh buena video me gusta! y acaba semana y bienvenido Octubre ! muy bien trabajo de video! 📺❤❤#2
Muchas Gracias! Espero que tengas un gran día!
