@@roadtobinbou9593 Back in 2016, there were huge turnouts of Shadow Paladin Revengers. Keep in mind that G Guardians came out halfway into the year so for that years springfest, Break Ride into Legion was the big thing; and if you survived that, Diablo would have killed you. That's not to say that it wasn't Standard Luard levels of unfair, but it was still really strong. And don't get me started on Gavriel. G Guards made her even stronger but even without them, simply getting a 6k buff to your VG every time you took a damage made it extremely defensive. And that's not even counting Nociel, which was essentially Angel Feather's poster child. ... man I feel old talking about this.
This is honestly my favorite scene form vanguard and this scene is the reason I love vanguard so much you could win at any chance you get risking everything on the line to win feeling like you could make a mistake that could cost you the game getting scared you might lose just take a chance you don't know what could happen
u know if ur back row are empty u can move ur front row units back and then use this guy's skill then u get the power without losing rearguards even if theyre grade2 and then move back front LIKE A BOSS
This is one of the reasons I love this anime. They put their hearts and imaginations into the game and when characters do lose they don't throw a hissy fit(unless it's the antagonist) like in Yugioh. I LOVE Vanguard the most out of ANY card game! I just wish they'd reissue the old sets like Yugioh is doing. I miss the OG and G Era for Vanguard.
Hmm...it would never actually happen, but: Break Ride Gauntlet Buster Dragon over Electric Shaper Dragon. Call two Devil Blade Eradictor, Cho-ou's, retiring 4 of their rearguards thanks to Shaper's effect. Gauntlet gains 4 Crit (5 total). Attack and hit with a RG attack boosted by Linchu, retire their last rearguard. Gauntlet is now at 6 Crit total. Drive two criticals for 8 total.
It's the biggest rarety of a card. Some RR and RRR cards are reprint as SP cards, it's the same idea as the rarety ghost from YGO. There is one every 120 boosters, approximately.
It is becuz armour break skill is retire 2 front row rg and abd gets 10k + 2 crit......adding his original crit it is 3 crit in total plus the crit trigger it is 4 crit
Cardfight Vanguard. This episode was from the 3rd season that aired ages ago. You can watch the entire series on Crunchyroll if you have an active accounts. Cheers!
Originally Armor Break Dragon's Critical is 1, with the skill it gets +10k power and +2 Critical and retires 2 of opponents' front units, ends up with 24k power and Critical 3.
You probably got the worst SP of the pack... And Armor Break is a very difficult Vanguard to play : If you do his LB at the wrong timing, you're as good as dead. But, if you want to do it anyway, I suggest a lot of Draws Triggers, 6 or 7 : Throwing 3 cards at the Limit Break is huge, you'll need extra cards. Rising Phoenix may be usefull. You should also do a lot of attacks quicly, forcing your opponent to use a lot of his hand early in the game, but beware of Perfect Guards.
Looking at this now, Naoki wouldve won regardless of if he got two triggers, he just needed a crit to win. Since even if Armor didnt go through, he could just give the crit to Vowing Sword and win like that
Critical 4 is only after the second Drive Check drawn is a Critical Trigger. But seriously, first time Critical level can be reached to 4. How high a Critical can reach I wonder...?
There's a 10k lacking in the information... Am i the only one to think that? It have 34k with triggers.. but where's the last 10k from? A unit can rarely boost 10k, thats why I wonder
Too expensive and not enough raw power. With generation guardians, it'd never hit unless the opponent had practically no cards in hand. It'd be awesome to see in a fight though.
did anyone notice he got a draw trigger and he didn't draw so that would have meant he wouldn't have gotten the other trigger man they forgot the rules
The current meta can learn a lot from Naoki.
What deck/clan the meta was back then?

@@lthefifteenth661 And now Armor Break is broken with its V retrain.
This had to age super well. Armor Break and Eradicators are on the up and up, especially Vanquisher. Narukami in general is eating well nowadays

no matter how many times I watch this it never gets old
This guy's like the Joey Wheeler of the group
Red still I’ve never seen someone that lucky as josy XD, Joey brings luck from his ass !!!!
He also plays recklessly constantly making dumb misplays but ends up winning by sheer luck.
But he is cool

Sound like Joey
Guys, let us remember this, if you got a problem, sometimes it's best not to think it through and break right through disregarding the consequences.
I will remember that when I get in a fight
dats how ppl end up in jail
Finally getting his V series version
It's pretty different though

The power of Limit Break!!
This is why I love Naoki
Welcome back, king.
LESTAGDUCKING GOOOOO HES BACK WITH EVEN MORE CRITS!!!
this was naokis shining moment

THAT'S THE WAY TEAM Q4 ROLLS.
4 Critical that is insane I'm so glad Naoki got another win
im proud of him :)
Naoki COMMITS like a chad!
Man Cardfight Vanguard Is Nice/Is So Cool/Awesome/Wiked/Weaked/Weeked/Amazing/Exiting Nice (y).
why do i like naoki so much......
Sometimes all you has to do in take a chance.
I recently came up on a sp of Armor Break Dragon need help with building a deck around him
i like this bgm
2:08 What is the Title of this Bgm?
Oh well tjanks for telling me
It is becuz armour break skill is retire 2 front row rg and abd gets 10k + 2 crit......adding his original crit it is 3 crit in total plus the crit trigger it is 4 crit
six because the highest a card can go naturally is a critical of 3 by itself then if you get double critical you'd be dealing 5 damage.
What does SP mean is it special in a way?
nice vid
A real dragon use his fist man, GG
What is this show called it looks pretty cool

Is the Armor Break Dragon.....Dance 0_0
Yeah, the especial CB is easier, I was just trying to think of a retire effect off the top of my head.
Aichi sounds like a younger(/older?) Deku
thanks i mean
Field a full set of Indra and get double critical triggers is critical 6.
X: Wait! That subtitle at the end of the match said Kanto! Where are the Pokemon?

Thats how suiko beat him last time, with a perfect guard

They wanted to showcase armor break more i think

Gunlet buster dragon limit break full power gives him 5 crits and if get double critical u can get 7 cris total
iam starting to think that narukami are going to betraid the thunder and join the fire wtf these 2 elements are totally different
HOLY COW!! Can anyone say "OVERKILL"?! O_o;
overkill won him the match

armore break dragon 11k + corposant 3k + limit break 10k + double trigger 10k + red river boost 8k = 42k
Oh okay, now i get it, thanks for the confirmation
Kamina would be fucking proud!
Ehem, Ishida Naoki = Hyakki Hunter Ban ban bari
Is it me or am i the only one that noticed he didnt draw with his draw trigger
He most likely did but it was off screen
When he trigger checked, he got a draw first didn't he? So, wouldn't he have drawn that crit? Unless if the anime just decided not to show it?
They just didn't want to show it.
They didnt show so it was assumed he drew his card before the critical trigger
Kanto block 3? Where's the Poke'mon?????
when sacking is cool, now its a garbage
See here's what I want someone to tell me. Is Armor Break Dragon still a viable card or not?
ThatManKelsey Well I mean it all depends on the matchup

Dunno to say with the v series out

did anyone notice he got a draw trigger and he didn't draw so that would have meant he wouldn't have gotten the other trigger
man they forgot the rules
They can juz skip wat he had draw man pls think
Or they didnt wanna show us him drawing a card from the draw trigger
Yo didn't he cheat?!?! Naoki is suppose to draw after getting a draw trigger then its the second check
If you get a draw trigger first youd draw a card then do your second check he did draw a card they just didnt show it so he didnt cheat
Couldnt he just give the crit to Vowing and just win?
If he got the crit first, yes. But he got it last, so one free damage.
Crimson Sunbird it wouldn't have mattered anyway
I want to use narukami
Try narukami v series
NERFED!!!!!!!
Overkill much?
Also you lose your rear guards with your opponent so that's bad
GametimeWithKelsey late comment but back then you can strategize to where you have no front row RG first and then call more afterwards
