This is one kick-ass presentation of what a small bureaucracy in Washington does. Before watching this I wondered what exactly the boards role was. Not anymore! Awesome job.
It's _essential._ Especially the one that guarantees us a 40-hr work-week by not allowing employers to use an employee's job as leverage in an ultimatum; for instance, when they say "work overtime or you're fired". "Mandatory", over-time is illegal.
All that effort, including state resources, and expensive attorneys to get back into your menial janitor job? The back pay makes sense, but I wouldn't go back to work there.

there's a way to get corruption out; that's to have everyone strike until they abolish corporate person-hood; from where all this corruption and degeneracy stems. We have to unionize every company, one by one. Then we connect them all and we have max collective-bargaining power and influence. Then we have each-others' backs and the power to bring positive change and keep corruption out.

They need to put a billboard up about this in Florida, especially with all these corporations breaking Federal law down here.
Isn't that the entire point of NLRB...enforcement of labor standards. " Breaking the law in Florida", where is the NLRB?
@@rhenderson9862 There isn't a State Labor board here. Without DOL protection, Floridians don't have anyone to enforce Federal labor laws.
I'm one minute in, and I'm already glad I know some of this stuff.
Nice to know your rights as workers

@@ToyotaGuy1971 I didn't know this. Here I am working 60 hour weeks for the past 3 months!
@@jakecheck3225 Read your employee rights poster; every business has to have one; that's a real mandate.
@@ToyotaGuy1971 oh we don't have any here.

The agents are delaying my case?
Is there anything we can do?

I'm sure it is.
You should of joined the union. You don’t participate in democracy, you suffer under fascism.
the judge here also played a character on the wire
my workplace manager tells me I can't wear uinion insignia but they allow non union employees to wear various tee shirts and caps with logos on them
That’s illegal. You absolutely can and should. It’s protected concerted activity
Did a non-union crew make this video?
😆
probably represented by the Screen Actors Guild
There is a NLRB? And it works on behalf of labor...oooooh, please!
