This video features a KSF C151A, 507/508, which is from TWD to serve EWL for the whole day under the weekend schedule, from EW27 Boon Lay to EW29 Joo Koon.
Seems that the one-step braking (OSB) on the KSFAs has returned back! It used to be on the KSFAs during the trial of OSB, but was subsequently removed for unknown reasons. But it seems that it got added back for today's run.
Here is one of the KSFA that ran on the East-West Line with the OSB activated. As you can see, there was no/little coasting brake required for the KSFA to come to a complete stop. Usually for KSFA, the braking would sometimes fail even on Auto Mode, and either underrun or overrun stations at times. Or even worse, take years to coast into the correct alignment...
But with this OSB on the KSFAs, it will definitely save a lot of time and hopefully that means that the KSFA braking will improve in the upcoming days!

Hopefully this change will serve as a daily use during revenue service throughout the day from tomorrow onwards and especially during the weekday peak hours

yep, just a little coasting when stopping but still retains the OSB.
