Nice install video. I'm about to try this. Have to use regular halogen bulbs or maybe HID since i could only fit one of the LED low beam bulbs into one of the headlights. They didn't fit in either the high beams socket (couldn't get that 'barrel' thing to go down inside) or the other headlights low beam (Couldn't get the cap on, was way off center). I guess the headlights aren't manufactured to high standards. lol 🖖
I got my eyes on a 2011 Chevy Cruise 1.6 LPG-gas with 117.000 miles, dealer is asking 7000 dollars for it. I really like the exterior and interior of the vehicle, i currently own a hatchback and this Chevy looks ideal to my family room requierements, i don't mind changing oil, filteres, sparkplugs, waterpump, coil covers as soon as i buy it, i would like to keep it for over 8-10 years, do you think it's a good deal and what is your opinion on this?
Well obviously the choice is up to you but…. Mine is a 2014 Chevy Cruze and I believe you could get something a little newer than a 2011 for $7,000 or maybe a little more. As far as for room, the back seats are good for children but for adults it gets a little crammed but it obviously still sits them more comfortably compared to some other cars. Other than that I love my car and I enjoy driving it!

They dont have halo rings on these. The led strip underneath the bulbs is the drl. The headlights are just projectors. I have the same pair on my cruze
I had a shop do mine. but i need some LEDs because the stock Halogen are terrible. Looks like my previous LED H13 bulbs wont work. The ones you put in the housing i think are H7. Also HOW do i get the bulbs out?!
Ya mine were very yellow so I put in some LED bulbs I found on Amazon (link is in my description). I just took off the dust covers and popped out the stock bulbs. It wasn’t hard to remove the stock bulbs. The hardest part when putting in the LED bulbs is trying to tuck everything inside the lens in order to get the dust cover back on. Hope this helps!
The led strip on the bottom comes on when it’s dark. I believe you have to wire it for them to come on as a daytime running light. I don’t have mine wired to run as a day time running light I feel like you wouldn’t really be able to tell anyways.
You have any problems with your cruze. I also have the 2014 ltz RS and I've had quite a few problems. Like my battery dying if I didn't drive it for a day. Or a slight coolant leak or any noises coming from your front wheels?
I have had some problems. I’ve just replaced my battery because it died on me but it was 6 years old so probably time for a new one. I replaced my intake manifold, coolant bypass hose twice which is a common problem with the Cruze and my turbo oil feed line. But other than that it’s been fine.
@@ivanclimaco9630 well if you mean for the day time running light then... I didn't wire them up, I skipped that part. They seemed to come on without having to wire them while I was installing these in the garage. I assumed they were working so I ended up not worrying about the wiring.

@@jonathonclaro I realize this is a year old comment. I just installed these and you have to wire them with the included wire kit to get the DRLs to come on. Unfortunately you have to find a 20A keyed wire to splice into to get DRLs to work. I will do that once I find a wire.
i do but i just get my winjet, but i change the led, I did not check how they alluded and threw them away, and I put others that I bought on ebay, and they do not light anything
@@jonathonclaro Did you have to adjust your headlights my low beams are a little off like as far as height and left and right adjustment, I just was wondering if you had to because it’s super hard to reach the adjustment screws
@@creamchowder3309 ya I did. I searched up a TH-cam video on how to align them correctly. Mining were pointing down too much. I got in there with a wrench
RS was an appearance package. Came with slightly different front and rear bumpers, along with side skirts. Everything fits the same across all first generation Cruze’s

Ya I remember it took me some time get the “barrel” thing to fit. Had to manoeuvre it around and it eventually fit.

I watched a TH-cam video on how to adjust them to the right height. I believe I turned a screw or something on the back of the housing.

I did not end up installing the wiring harness
The gaskets on the top of the headlights don't make it at all. You should remove them.
Why would I remove them? They are working great, I have had no issues with them at all yet since installation and they look awesome!!

Ya I had condensation, I believe it's normal because it doesn't happen anymore.
