How inspiring to not only hear this beautiful indigenous ethnic music but also realize that after four generations past the codification of Apartheid (1948), the children of Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho, Tswana, and Dutch are joyfully singing together as one.

Nope no cookie for speaking the local language, I lived in the US and now in Belgium, I dont get praised for speaking the local language well because it is expected . I learnt the language in two years because I respect my host country which is more that I can say for some people who have lived in my country for many generations.

This performance resonates in me every single day, and has been in my head for a solid month +/-. Daily. And nightly. Constantly!
I discovered it a year or so ago while searching for songs from live Lucky Dube concerts. This particular choir is my favorite. Please also watch Cape Town Youth Choir. Stunning!

소중한 영혼들이 기쁨으로 연합하는 찬양을 인간의 행복 중에 듣습니다. 그리고 바라봅니다.
주님께서 보시며 함께하시는 저 영혼들의 기쁨의 봉헌을!

Stunning. This has been a sh*tty year and it's easy to be down about humanity. But stumbling across this choir this morning gave me a bit more faith that humans are capable of creating singularly beautiful things. More please.
