Was going to buy this from amazon for 500 euros then decided to do a bit of research, found this video, followed your referral link to the official site, used the code after registering as a new customer which gave me more dicsounts, ended up paying 380 euros instead of 514. thanks man. also great video batman!!
Thanks for a nice video. Im looking into printing for some cosplay stuff. Does the printer have any required ambient room temp? Was thinking of having it in my garage for temps in there can sink down to like 5 degree celsius.
Had a Voxelab Aquilla and used Cura to slice to SD. I bought this specifically for its WiFi ability and i havent found how to do it yet. Printer is pn wifi, Im still getting used to Creality program and learning where everything is. Cant seem to find how to set up wifi printer connection. I havent found a how to video either. 😭
There are two ways to do that. The first is to check what IP address the printer is using (Settings -> Network) then visit that IP address with a web browser. From there you can upload files to the printer via a standard web interface. The other option is via Creality Print. In the main "Devices" tab you can select "Scan add' to search for and add any printers on your network. Then you just use the "LAN printing" button after slicing to send the file directly to the printer.
Great video! Do you think there reasons are beyond cost why Creality continues to release new bed slinger printers instead of moving entirely to Core XY? The build volume and the price of this printer are pretty appealing, but the disadvantages of Core XZ seem pretty apparent based on your review.
Question: This looks like it's a direct drive printer. If so, what's the purpose of a bowden tube? If the filament spool were mounted from the top could the bowden tube be eliminated?
My guess is they are trying to reduce the weight on the frame to minimise vibrations, but other than that, there's no reason why the filament couldn't be mounted on the top and the Bowden tube eliminated.
@@BlondieHappyGuy I have created this anti-tangle device for the side-mounted spool, and so far it's working very well: www.thingiverse.com/thing:6811687
Question: I use Octoprint on all of my printers but because the V3 Plus doesn't use Marlin it won't be possible. I'm not opposed to that. However, one ESSENTIAL feature of Octoprint is that if I'm printing a lot of parts and one of the parts fails by not sticking to the bed I can have Octoprint ignore that part for the rest of the job. Is that possible in the software on this printer?
Question: The space where I would put this printer isn't wide enough to include the filament spool. Can it be mounted to the top? Is there a STL file to help with that?

Have you made the stl file for the awesome camera bracket you designed public?
I have now! www.thingiverse.com/thing:6838897

Do you still use this printer? If so, how do you enjoy this printer
@@BlondieHappyGuy and no issues with them at all

Creality's flagship K1 series are all CoreXY, but they are more expensive than the Ender range.
@@BranchusCreations I saw that the forthcoming K2 is 350x350x350mm which would be a huge upgrade from my current 256x256x256mm volume limit.

Yes, I believe the built-in firmware does have this feature. The web interface shows all objects printing and you can selectively cancel any of them.
what are the benefits of this printer over Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus?

I've seen photos of the Ender-3 V3 Plus in this configuration, so I'm sure it can be done.
There is a set of printable modifications on Thingiverse. Just query the Ender-3 V3 Plus and you’ll find them.
