“This is not my baby…just so you know 😉😘”
To flirt at a time like that leans so perfectly into how she sees her character and was so well timed!

For some odd reason that's never worked when I've said it...

As a fellow DM (though not even close to the same league as Guy) I can appreciate the ridiculous amount of details that go into his world building. He has either thought of almost everything in advance, or he is just amazing at improv. I'm sure the players must love playing in such a beautiful and well-thought out space.

Thank you for your kind words. You don't need to improv if you'd built your world correctly. And you only need to build certain pieces of the world to make it work. A little effort, a lot of practice, and great players make it all look amazing :)

I agree with the players' summaries; excellent worldbuilding on your part Guy.

It was nice hearing what I assume was reference to the Windswift crew(s) at 13:50 (although it could have been reference to the initial “defeat” of the dragons, or a combination of that and the Windswift arc or a different group of players). It would seem Section 13 was adept at managing/covering up the public relations fallout after the fact, if we’re even in the same Braxian universe/timeline as Windswift!

    Audio engineer needed?

Yes. If anyone wants to volunteer - YES. The system was working perfectly for the first episode, then suddenly it starts to fall over - mid recording. :(

@@HowtobeaGreatGM It sounds like an echo more than anything. Perhaps all of the personal mics are all picking up others speech. Would a single boom mic suspended above just off camera be the answer?

It sounds like to me you are recording your stream (system) and your mic inputs at the same time . I would be happy to help you sort it out if you cant find the problem. I would have to see your OBS to be sure.

@@Loko-wl7fo We run 3 USB mics into a powered USB hub which feeds into the PC as a single input. OBS sees the 3 mics, and we record all 3 mics at equal level. Most of the time the audio is in sync and fine. Then, this echo begins to appear - mid recording sometimes. We're recording the episode so won't know until after we are done. @@HowtobeaGreatGM the definitive solution may require investment unfortunately. A device like the Behringer XENYX 1202SFX 12-Channel Analog Mixer costs about 100 pounds and allows you to connect and volume balance up to 4 mics. The nobs on it look complicated but are actually rather simple.
Then the device connects to your recording PC via USB cable. Your PC will see a single sound input device instead of one for each mic, and your mics won't become desynchronised.
There may be other options too, this is just one I found with a quick search that didn't cost hundreds and hundreds of pounds! If you tried and idea like this you would also need to budget for some new mics that can connect to it via XLR cable
Loved this weeks episode, is it Friday yet?
