Here's a very likely theory on why you suddenly died at 1:40:42 basically because mobs like zombies and skeletons can spawn with enchanted gear one of the possible enchantments they can have is thorns which damages the opponent if they attack with a melee attack so eventually your health got whittled down this way untill you died

Sean...I'm going to tell you a couple facts that could've helped you save some of your stuff. One, netherite doesn't burn in lava, it floats to the top. You could've gotten some of your stuff back. Two, the warden can attack through blocks even if it doesn't have 'line of sight'. If it can hear you through the walls, it can just straight up shout you to half health, no matter what kind of armor you're wearing. Finally, three. You need to get some totems of undying man. There was straight up a bannered illager you could've killed coming out of that portal. Could've at least gotten 2-4 totems to help you survive all of these falls man. (Also, your water bucket was on your hotbar. Why aren't you using it?) Other than that though, very entertaining setup you have here. Hope you're doing good my man.

Hey Sean, this is legit some of the best content you've ever put out. Your editing is getting really good and the way you narrate your videos is better than anyone else. I really enjoy the long videos I can turn on at bedtime and watch all the way through. Keep on producing amazing content, my man!
you died while afk'ing because of thorns. It's a common problem with most mob farms. skeletons and zombies have a chance to spawn with armor and enchants on said armor, one of which being thorns. running out of hunger only brings you down to half a heart, but the thorns deals the finishing blow. all it takes is enough afk'ing and you'll eventually run into a thorns piece of armor. there's ways to circumvent it, but for the purposes of a short smp like this, they're not really worth it (If you're curious though, the main idea is hitting another entity with a sword's sweeping edge so that you still "claim" the kill for xp purposes, but don't register a direct hit that procs thorns. people usually use minecarts, boats, or armor stands for this, infinitely placing them down with dispensers, and recycling them back in with hoppers). next time, I'd just check in every hour or so to eat food.
I really wish you hadn't hesitated. 😆 You would have won if you had placed your ender pearl before hand, and rigged the trap to kill everyone, leaving you to be the sole survivor instead of Shadow. Definitely an awesome video, awesome story, lots of tension, lots of build up, and that final climax was really good. Absolutely loved it!

1:20:34 Word of advice, make sure you never ever get Bane of Arthropods, its one of the worst enchants to get on your sword, its literally useless but the other enchants you had on your iron swords were pretty, good. Plus you also wanna avoid placing mending on iron tools as it just better for diamonds tools

literally one of my favourite things about watching forge lab's minecraft videos is his reaction to his skin whenever he goes into his inventory.
“No crime can be done till the last day” proceeds to loot village day one.
The fact Sean progressed more in 2 mins than he normally does ever in his videos.
Forge labs is one of the greatest content creators, his creativity and his storytelling abilities are insane.

It's honestly amazing that you consistently come up with absolutely amazing plans, do all the setup, and line up all the pieces perfectly just to fumble at the last moment.

you died while afk'ing because of thorns. It's a common problem with most mob farms. skeletons and zombies have a chance to spawn with armor and enchants on said armor, one of which being thorns. running out of hunger only brings you down to half a heart, but the thorns deals the finishing blow. all it takes is enough afk'ing and you'll eventually run into a thorns piece of armor.
there's ways to circumvent it, but for the purposes of a short smp like this, they're not really worth it (If you're curious though, the main idea is hitting another entity with a sword's sweeping edge so that you still "claim" the kill for xp purposes, but don't register a direct hit that procs thorns. people usually use minecarts, boats, or armor stands for this, infinitely placing them down with dispensers, and recycling them back in with hoppers). next time, I'd just check in every hour or so to eat food.

I really wish you hadn't hesitated. 😆 You would have won if you had placed your ender pearl before hand, and rigged the trap to kill everyone, leaving you to be the sole survivor instead of Shadow. Definitely an awesome video, awesome story, lots of tension, lots of build up, and that final climax was really good. Absolutely loved it!

1:20:34 Word of advice, make sure you never ever get Bane of Arthropods, its one of the worst enchants to get on your sword, its literally useless but the other enchants you had on your iron swords were pretty, good. Plus you also wanna avoid placing mending on iron tools as it just better for diamonds tools
