No, the worlds addiction to money is the issue. The lack of one's understanding of our inherent connection to nature and each other, is the issue. Constant lies and manipulation by the powers that be, are the issue. The world's governing bodies and their inherent structural flaws, are the issue. A lack of spirituality and belief we could could do things better than the creators and those that came before us, are the issue. A broken scientific method, is the issue. The inability of the individual to develop a realistic world view and effect change in a meaningful manner, on a personal level, or as part of a group, is the issue. The belief that adhering to broken societal constructs that caused this mess, will some how fix it, is the issue. Simply blaming fossil fuels, when the issues are far more complex, is the issue.

Whats their alternative electric cars with cameras and surveillance that eventually become controlled by the government and self driven where they can watch your every move and turn your car off with the press of a button? What happens if the power grid goes down too? What you gonna do with all those batteries that run out after a few years? Gimme a break

There's nothing saying that we have to have 100 per cent clean energy. For some things, we will still retain fossil fuels. Yours is a very simplistic black and white type of view.

Aha.....and HOW MANY of his OWN COUNTRY is using full electric and NOT fossil fuel ???
How many of how many total people / devices/cars,etc.
The hypocrisy is off the charts these days 😕

His country isn't much of his responsibility anymore than any other country is now. I don't know how it was under his tenure as prime minister but currently, he doesn't hold any government position in Portugal.

Not your fault at all keep driving and doing your thing. Climate change if it's even happening is the responsibility of big business like airlines, military and factories not the everyday average citizen.

How does the world move from fossil fuels and by when can this be done?
    What technology is required?
Hydro / Solar Panels / Wind Turbines / Something Else?
    How many and where?
2050 energy consumption will be 50% more than 2020.
How to offset for no wind or too much wind or no sun?
    Batteries or pumped hydro?
Capacity? / How many? / Where? / By what year?
    Global Energy Consumption - 2023
    14.5% Renewables
    1% Other
    1% Biofuels
    2.5% Solar
    3.5% Wind
    6.5% Hydro
    4% Nuclear
    23% Natural Gas
    26.5% Coal
    32% Oil
