Split rock trail

- After hearing rumors of an awesome rock outcropping called Split rock somewhere near Walker Valley, I decided to go look for it.
We found it and it was well worth the ride. We actually saw more riders on that trail then the 5 hours we spent riding in Walker.

Nice! Ya made 'er! Boy I sure did love that place back in the day. Glad it is still accessible I was worried after the rumors that it was completely blocked that it was true. Good to see it again. Thanks for the video! The trees have really grown in around that rock! used to be so much more open, I have some excellent pictures I took there back 2011 or so on a frosty morning in the snow and it looked so much more.. open lol. You can climb through the boulder field and reach the split in the rock. There is a climbers route that goes through. Supposed to be some nice mineral specimens around there.
Wow, I will have to make a solo run up there so I can go check out the hiking part you talked about. Thanks for letting me know about that trail, It was a blast.

Yea, I think that it takes a while for you tube to auto generate the comments. I noticed when I try to watch Ron's videos right after he posts, the CC is not available. If I go back later, the CC is now available.
