- Battlefield 1 is a brilliant game, I don't think I fully appreciated its good points when it was the main Battlefield game. Battlefield 6 is coming soon, can it learn much from this game? Some GREAT music too! Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.

This game never fails to make you feel like you are in a movie trailer
It actually does, most of the time. BF3 and 4 had those "only in Battlefield" moments. Jets, helicopters above, tanks breaking through walls, stuff exploding. BF1 was pretty meh, had ban gunplay, broken guns and mechanics. If they don't go back to the roots of 3 and 4, BF is done for a lot of people.

I tried playing this around late night and other modes other than conquest or tdm. But its hard to find ppl playing and everyone uses the same gun?
its just very annoying that you cant find games on xbox. I have premium and im sure many other players do too, but we never get to play any of the DLC maps on conquest nor operations. find myself going back and forth between the same 4 maps forever, im sick of playing them. Sinai, St. quentin, Fao fortress, and the italian maps. and on a good day you might get some of the ottoman DLC, but i never get to play Russian DLC games :/ dice needs to fix matchmaking on bf1 because its getting stale.

? What, sure the guns are clunky and weird but I thought that was accurate to the time period. Lol I'm fine with the gunplay can any describe why the criticism? (I also find the kill clip sound as always super satisfying)

@@awesomenice742 what I disliked about the gunplay of BF1, was it felt like guns would not shoot where I was aiming, always around the target. It was jarring. I like playing support class with LMGs but BF1 and V seem to punish this class.
I remember coming back to BF1 sometime after release and they added a gun, can't remember the name but it had like 26 rounds in a mag. It changed the game for me as it would hit where I was aiming and such a simple thing made the game fun.

Battlefield is like a classic car that has not been used in a long time but when it is used it brings back memories and rides so well.
But sometimes it can be an expensive paperweight

It's a Toyota corolla, reliable, boring, but better than the shite they churned out after it.
This is still my absolute favourite battlefield the atmosphere, sound design, soundtrack, maps, weapons everything is just amazing. It really feels like you're in a war especially the operations, they were so good and the intros listening to soldiers talk about the upcoming battle really added to the immersion. Battlefield 1 was a masterpiece.
Operations in BF1 is still the best game mode in any game I’ve ever played. I agree that the story that the game presented over the different battles really made you feel like you were part of something real. I just wish they hadn’t focused so much in the latter stages of the game on adding stuff like the Ilya Maurmets and all the SMGs.

Yeah. This game has got to be in one of my top 3. I’m a history nerd and mainly played sniper and support because they had the most realistic guns. When you switch to standard issue servers, which I could rarely find, it was a history buff’s dream come true

BF1 was the last real BF - with the ability to destroy everything, etc.

The atmosphere of pushing up to hill to the bunker on monte grappa is unreal
The sniper sweet spot mechanic was so damn clever and and made each sniper have a rold unlike other BF games where it didnt matter which one you picked.
Man that's one of the best looking games I've ever seen. It all looks so damn realistic, and such a good game tbh.. unlike Battleshit 5.

This game got me interested in ww1. I was disappointed to find out that there are no more vets alive from the war. For a brief few years some were alive at the same time as me. Would have loved to interview one
Music for BF1 was superb, with the brilliant narration it really added a sense of drama

This game was true class, awesome map designs and game modes, amazing gunplay and gun sounds, an eye-opening and thematic campaign. I really enjoyed BF1
Play bfV, then after that bf1, and then realise every time; bfV feels like a chore, where bf1 is just fun. I keep going back to it.
Yeah I gave BFV a shot again after giving all the battlefields a run through once more...I uninstalled BFV after 2 days...it's just not fun like the others!
those are the games i play, the fun arcade ones, no chore. its a struggle to get you're team to victory if you're losing but fun all the way
I actually much prefer the gameplay in BFV. To me it doesn't feel like a chore at all.

Watching this had made me miss battlefield 1 so much, the menu music, in game music and atmosphere is/was fantastic, proper immersed you in the gameplay, great video as always

Battlefield 1 is my favorite Battlefield game. It was so fun to pay. It was pure chaos on some of those maps. Operations was my favorite to play. BF1 is so good people didn't realize it at first.
The sad thing is that BFV had so much potential and DICE dropped the ball. Imagine the atmosphere of BF1 but with a WW2 skin.
@@earthsmortician5869 Spot on with this. I was excited how BF5 was going step by step of WW2. I wanted the Soviet added but never go that. I wanted D-Day or Battel Britain. Never got it. Dice completely dropped the ball on BF5. It could have been so good.
Some of the maps are great like Aerodrome and Devastation. But BF5 is really a skin deep game.
Always told my mates to go back to 1. V destroyed the squad I played with since 2011.
I've been playing this game for 4 years straight now and have no intention to stop anytime soon.
Ugh i love this game so much. Absolutely immersive masterpiece.
Aside from the Artillery Truck and Heavy Bomber being completely broken, this game is a masterpiece.
The heavy bomber is pretty fragile though. If you have any competent pilots/AA gunners you can take it down easily and sometimes before it can do damage. The artillery truck there is no defense for if they stay in their spawn.
@@dboy820 Unfortunately you have to rely on good teammates at taking them down, most of the time I'm stuck with teams that refuse to target them for whatever reason; or get unlucky where the map fogs up and you can't even see the damn thing coming.

BFBC2, BF3, BF4, BF1.... I was a part of all of em and I never really truly stopped to smell the flowers. With any multiplayer game it wil have its peak and ig thats true with anything that relies on a community backing..

I absolutely loved this game from the start. The team push and chaos that naturally comes to every game is what battlefield is.
I have such a love hate relationship with this game. Rage when playing but it’s easily the most immersive BF game so far imo.

My favourite Battlefield by far. Has such a great pace that you can chill and play with a drink 👌 Saying that battlefield 2042 looks phenomenal.

This game was pure fun. No sweaty SBMM Warzone shit, just funny hours chilling with the boys. I miss this time every day.
It's still fairly active tbh. I've been playing it on PS4 lately to get a break from Cold War's insane SBMM system.
Warzone gets me stressed out, Bf1 is relaxing
Apart from the poor flight mechanics BF1 was one of my favourite BF games. Satisfying headshot noises, great maps, decent story and fun gameplay. Truly one of the legends.
So when this guys stands still out in the open he doesn’t get shot, but when I’m proned behind cover I get flanked, sniped, and rushed at the same time. Insane
Back when I was playing a lot of BF1 I just wanted BF5. Definitely didn’t know how good we had it back then

I still play this from time to time, absolutely loved this, had so much fun with the martini henry infantry which I had to use to unlock another weapon, however because it was that good, I kept reverting to it. I cant see them doing this but making it look better for the series would be brill, I mean it is stunning visually anyway.

I played battlefield 1 from release and all the way through high-school to the end of 2020. This game is so immersive and it's by far the best FPS experience I have ever had.
Playing this game with no hud is one of the greatest experiences you can ever have in gaming a true masterpiece
I still play this game. Got early access when it first came out, every expansion on ps4. Pretty much unlocked everything. I spent quarantine doing it all again on xbox

i used to play BF1 everyday jamming to Pearl Jam and many other bands, for some reason rock music just went perfectly with BF1.
