This is the story of a Protoss named Karax. Karax worked in a big arkship called the Spear of Adun, where he was Master Phasesmith. The Master Phasesmith's job was simple: he sat at his desk, and he pushed buttons on a keyboard. Orders came to him through a monitor on his desk, telling him what buttons to push, how long to push them, and in what order. This is what the Master Phasesmith did every day of every month and every year, and although others might have considered it soul-rending, Karax relished every moment that the orders came in, as though he had been made exactly for this job. And Karax was happy.

I solve practical problems. For instance, how am I gonna stop some big mean mother hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer: use Orbital Strike. And if that don't work? Use Purifier Beam.

Unlike a certain generic Executor with only A-move as an option, he has more than one button to press!
Hyakkidour4n I ean, if you play High Archon then he does have buttons to push, but Artanis needs to be careful about unit composition early and his anti-air (as with all non-terran commanders) is pretty weak.
Karax, on the other hand, just harvests a crap ton of resources, builds an inpenetrable defense and just upgrades everything. I say this AS a Karax Player... and I love how little effort I need to put into the more difficult things.

Also, depends on how you play Artanis. If you're just spamming Zealots/Dragoons/Reavers then yea, pretty much A move is the only thing you got. Throw in some High Templars for support at least and try to use storms to support Zealot charges.
This video was sold with the screaming marine as Kerrigan is shaking him like 'GIMME MY MONEY!' and minerals were flying out. So priceless that moment, only to be followed up by Karax spelling out LOL around the hybrid! XD

The thing about Karax is that he ACTUALLY isn't fat! It's just a thing that's covering his waist and it makes him LOOK that way. Look behind it and he's ACTUALLY pretty slim!

A Zerg player using their overlord to grant vision to the laser would be awesome!
Zagara throws endless amounts of Zerg at the enemy while Swann turtles with siege tanks, occasionally frying the entire map with his laser
+Patrick Mounier (Quezler) Did that yesterday completely by accident - my ally put his overseer in range of the pirate ship thingy on the void shard mission and I slowly but surely drilled it to death while my army was busy elsewhere :)
+almightyhydra only problem is, if you party with someone who owns LOTV, your ally does not get the temporary full unlock (if you know what I mean), so I'm usually "forced" to play with a raynor/Kerrigan/Artanis, the chance for any of the 4 "premium" heroes is so low, that it only happened a handful of times, which is slightly sad, thank you blizzard ;)

As someone who plays a lot of Kerrigan paired up with a buddy who plays a lot of Karax... This is extremely accurate. If I get in over my head, he presses buttons

Karax:Just provide base defence with his unit alone and not using for attack as his Calldown ability is capable to tear apart an army with hybrid within a moment. He also got free-repair-to-all-mechanical-unit calldown.

Tallacus I usually have a massive army of energisers.
When I play Karax, I go straught to carriers and the rest of my resources go towards static defende.

+BBspike100 Actually, we see the spear of adun fire in a cutscene in the campaign, it plays the animation of it firing it's main weapon the first time you unlock it when you fight the Void thrasher for the first time.

BBspike100 it's the mission where you rescue the Nerazim and help them escape from their planet. the void thrasher shows up to destroy their warp gate, and then the spear of adun gets a cutscene showing it activating it's guns and firing on the void thrasher. but it's only the one cutscene.

The animation with Spear of Adun launches Orbital Strikes is in "Amon Reach".
Its only play in mission 4. No animation if you play it after mission 4.
Artanis speech also change if it is mission 4 or not:
Mission 4= Karax, are any of the Spear of Adun's weapons systems ready for use?
After mission 4= Warriors, we must slay it before it destroys the conduit. Strike as one, templar!
+BBspike100 Actually it unlocks no matter what your fourth mission is. In Skyshield the cutscene shows SoA brutally murdering enemy terrans, and in Amon's Reach it weakens the thrashers. You get that cutscene on either mission, depending on where you go first.

Pretty much how I play Karax. I play a game every morning and when I'm feeling lazy, Karax it is. Max out structure health, chrono and repair beam. Chrono my allies CC, build cannons and set a few sentries(energizer) to follow his army and I'm set.
