Ginger for wiping everything down to take smell away. Get rid of all paper stuff and rewrap food. In freezer put a lot baking soda in freezer. On fruit can make smoothie bags all ready to go. Also jack fruit is considered a protein. On wings watch Adam Legglife tailgate video. Wings in air fryer learned baking powder and heavy seasoning makes them awesome. Good haul. Lots of work. Kids can safely use ginger rags to wipe off packages. Have a blessed day.

FYI Jackfruit is what vegetarians and vegans use as a chicken substitute. It’s great for barbecue pulled mock chicken, mock chicken tacos, mock chicken soup and such.
Although it is a fruit, it is not good raw. The same a plantains are best cooked, so is jackfruit. Dragon fruit, however is fantastic sweet and fun!

WOW, that wasn't just a lot of food, that was really good chef-y food. The baking soda is a great idea. I would also give a quick wipe down of all the packaging with some diluted vinegar and water. Vinegar will kill kitchen orders better than anything, and it is CHEAP! FYI, it is pronounced AH (like ah, so cute) sigh (like heavy sigh) EE (phonetic long e). It doesn't taste great to me, but it's supposed to be a superfood, so throw it in all the smoothies in your future and live long and prosper😃

Carolina make some hot vinegar water add a few drops of dish soap and wipe down all of the packages. Remove all paper and cardboard packaging and write instructions on the product with a sharpie. Never use household cleaning products to clean a freezer. My local food bank did that one time and all of their food tasted like the cleaners they used. (Even the eggs) Hope this helps. Good luck!

Wipe all the packs down with disinfectant wipes or some hot soapy water with some bleach in it! I've been given stuff before because someone's freezer went out stuff on top started thawing and juiced the frozen stuff up pretty good and I cleaned it all up and placed in my freezer things that were in flimsy saran type wrappers I wiped what I could and others placed in ziploc bags I had no issues with smells. Pork Belly: large slab...slice on the diagonal both directions without cutting completely through the slab (pretty harlequin pattern), season well down into the cuts, bake on a rack so the fat runs off at 350-375 until it looks dark and cooked (45 minutes, methinks). I mine with salt/pepper. After cooking, I add Tajin. But I'm Texan and love me some Tajin. You can also deep fry salted strips that are snipped partly every 1". They're finished when the steam slacks off and they turn golden. Fried--best bacon on the planet!

I left a message yesterday but I guess it didn't go through,it was kinda long so maybe that's why.Fresh from the pack or can of ground coffee will get rid of odorsI haven't try it on the freezer but coffee doesn't freeze. Some fish got left in my car once overnight and it was summer ,so you can imagine what my car smelled like.Badddd😀I put coffee where the fish were within just a short while the smell was gone.Awesome gift from your friend ,she truly blessed you.😀♥️Corn beef, love it but haven't had it in a long time it is so expensive..❤️🙏I just noticed I said a can of ground coffee, that was a mistake you don't need a whole can .😀♥️

WOW WOW WOW!! That is a NOISE freezer haul! Thank you to Carolina's friend! What a blessing, thank you Jesus! Maybe you could do a pantry challenge where you only eat from the freezer/cupboards for a month, except for fresh fruit/veg (you might have enough frozen though,) milk, butter etc. Maybe start your challenge next month for Feb? Ive seen a few channels do this and save BIG BUCKS for that month. Just a thought. God bless you. Shirley.

Wow what a blessing from your friend. The packs of meat that the packaging has been poked take out of packing and repack in vacuum seal pack. Also a wipe down with a damp cloth will help with the smell also if packs are covered with wrap over cardboard just remove this.

We eat those ramen bowls with pot stickers for a quick dinner or weekend lunch. You could make those hashbrowns and the mini frittata along with a little milk gravy with sausage grease to top them with and I bet the hubs would eat that up as the gravy would mask the healthy. LOL

Pork belly makes the best spaghetti sauce. Cook it down...save the fat (like lard) Then add the meaty parts in sauce like your meat spaghetti sauce.

Wow wow wow!! That's like $1000 worth of food (or more!) I would of cleaned her freezer just for the 10 pound pork belly and the lamb!
For that big pork belly I would defrost, cut into more manageable sizes, and freeze again. I like pork belly in the crockpot with a mustard sauce or a green chile sauce.
Acai is pronounced uh-sigh :) Dragon fruit has a very very mild flavor. I like it in smoothies or mixed with other fruit. A girl I used to work with ate jack fruit all the time, I tried a bite and thought it tasted bad but maybe it was the way she prepared it. I'll be watching to see what you do with it!

You could do some pork belly in the air fryer, roast it in the oven, put slices in a stir fry, or just slice it into strips and fry in the cast iron. Fried pork belly, baked beans, and some hash brown potatoes and dinner is served.
For the pork tenderloin I marinate them in a mixture of soya sauce (1/2 cup) , honey (1/4 cup), fresh garlic (2 tblspn), a pinch of white pepper, and a pinch of ginger. Stir that all together and set aside. Take 6-8 pieces on bacon and wrap around the tenderloin, over lapping so the entire tenderloin is wrapped. Place in in a glass 9×11 baking dish and pour the marinade over top of tenderloin. Marinade for at least 2 hours. Cook in a 350 degree oven until done. Approximately 20 minutes per pound. I usually serve this with rice and fresh vegetables.
