Glad you gave some props to Ale. Everyone notices Pau because she is so exaggerated and theatrical and Dany because she is so expressive and the penultimate front woman. But Ale is a show unto herself for those that pay attention. Her swagger and confident presence make her so enjoyable to watch. Each one of these girls brings something unique to the whole experience.
Yep.... You see Dany and Pau you're like jumping up and down then you see Ale and are like "Holy Shite" !!!! at least that is the way for me.... ALE !!!! 🤩
Pau's teacher, Beto Ramos. I don't think Pau will ever "copy him". She'll leave that as is. Let's just leave that as a Pau respect thing. Ale, oh my god did she bring in Flea's ghost notes on the bass when they did that cover. And Pau swapping to jazz, brush style.... And Dany covering Nevarro's work and bringing a different sound to the song? Dear goodness, it's the definition of badass. It's kinda odd because they didn't make a whole lot of changes, but the song sounds angry instead of angsty. It has a different feel entirely. ❤️⚡🤘
Ken. You talk about Ale's swag (7:31). Go back to Enter Sandman from the Pepsi. You can see that swag & confidence (Ale was in the dark coming back to the stage playing her bass - look at her meaner). I do believe both Dany & Ale also felt the love Pau recieved after Breathe. Certainly saw that when Dany did her solo *"When I'm Alone".*
Dave Navvaro, ex Jane's Adiction & Red Hot Chilli Peppers was the guitarists on Alanis Morissette's version. Ex-Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins was Alanis Morissette's drummer for Jagged Little Pill tour.
Not only is this song the greatest Fuck You rock song ever written but to end this huge show with it is just rubbing their fame in the faces of their critics. I love it!
Great analysis like always, Ken. Although I like when Pau comes off her battle station, for some reason behind her kit, she hits those things to make the point of the song and has a bigger impact. BTW, I like Ale's swagger. Keep Rockin' my friend. TWA 🤘⚡🤘
3:23 "aléjense de mí, ¡Por favor!". Yes, I can see why you thought that. It means "leave me alone, please!" Or "get away from me, plz" Tho. Cheers, Ken. ⚡
There is only one thing missing, that I wish they would do more live, is extent the great riffs, breakdowns and bridges or crowd interactions, instead if most of the time just sticking to the album version, but other than that this show is top notch.
I remember when I first saw this and learned what it was all about, I wonder what those people are thinking now, I know, "we shouldn't have messed with the Warning". 😆
Thanks Ken....absolutely love this song and this right here is at the top of the list!!! MHO, best live rock band on the planet!!! Seen them all in many decades, this is it right here. Cheers.
Yep, Pau was about 60% healthy. Dany and Ale were at 85%. Pau's doctor was off stage at the concert and Pau had received steroids to get her thru the concert.
Unfortunately I already saw the 5 or 6 they did on Sirius because I wasn't sure they were coming to TH-cam and I got impatient. I thought they all killed it though on You Oughta Know.

Nice reaction as usual. What a show !! 🤟🏼🎸🥁🎸🤟🏼
Ale was pretty confident already in the Teatro Metropolitan era, if not earlier.
Excellent my friend... excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have always wanted them to break out into an unplanned jam or extended sections as well. I don't think we'll ever get the jam though.

Buenas tardes, podrías reaccionar a la versión que hicieron de un tema de Alanís Morrisset para una estación de radio?
