    Hey,
I’ve just recently found your channel and all I want to say is thank you!
As a person who has watched TH-cam for years, I can no longer relate as much to younger TH-camrs, who do make up videos.
I am now 38 and I’m starting to notice my skin maturing. I looked for a little while to find videos like yours. I feel I can’t wear a full coverage foundation as it’s settling into fine lines etc.
Your channel is just a breathe of fresh air and your recommendations are so useful. Thank you 🥰❤️ x

I got the Haus Labs and I AGREE about a little goes a long way. I have to use half a pump for both sides total. If I use a full pump for full face, it'll be too much. I want to look like I'm not wearing makeup as I do only the no make makeup up look. It looks more flattering as time goes through out the day. Oh and shake well because that makes a difference too. I'm use to shake well because I wear Mac Face and Body on rotation, it's my holy grail.

Thanks for the comment on your experience! I was afraid the Haus labs was going to be too full coverage for me but after you said you like the no makeup look I’m definitely going to give it a shot! Can I also ask you if this foundation has any scent or fragrance to it? Thank you very much for your help!! 🙏💙

My former holy grail It cosmetics CC cream had begun to be difficult to spread evenly on my 63 year old skin, even moisturized. I picked up Dr Jarte at the recommendation of a Sephora associate who tried a number of types on me (including other types of the It CC cream). I’m med light leaning toward medium, and dang, the Dr Jarte is amazing! Makes my old face look fresh and bright. A few years ago it might have not worked as well but my skin has changed and the Jarte is perfect. My skin tone is similar to yours (a hair darker maybe).

Haus Labs Foundation is a game changer, Painted By Spencer went to a Haus Labs training, it's in a anti-aging video doesn't say Haus Labs on it, how to use a darker Foundation as a bronzer and to mix it with her paint tubes for blush, worth a watch. Of course, I trust Stephanie Marie to always tell us her take, with how things work for her skin! I just love watching.

I've heard the problem with Haus Labs is really finding your shade, some say the range is like in MAC foundations where C is for warm leaning and W more cool leaning ! I can't attest it because i'm on a low buy and i wont purchase foundations soon, but i like how this foundation looks on most people who test it ! Thank for your round up Stephanie 🤗

  • @pollysshore2539

I’m finally buying the Haus Labs foundation. I figured out quickly that the shades were similar to MAC. I still hope I ordered the right one. I keep getting matched with 160 on the HL site but generally peach foundations don’t look great on me. I do have a true pink undertone and there is usually too much yellow in peach shades for me as well. It never looks natural.
    I went with 130.
It looks like an amazing formula!

Thank you for the video! Love your channel! I have combo/oily skin (leaning more oily) with noticeable pores. Because my oily radiance always shows thru , i prefer thin, light layers of primer and setting powder (if any) to avoid cakey look.
I have been searching for that HG foundation that is light/med coverage with barely satin finish. I really don’t understand the popularity of dewy/radiant/glowy formulas . Even Oily skin YTers recommend dewy products.

    • @embeth446
      @embeth446 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

Haha I relate to this. The wet and wild does look very pretty on the skin and is probably the cheapest complexion product I’ve ever purchased! The L’Oréal true match nude serum is my go to these days. I sampled both the hourglass and the Haus labs from my Sephora and neither one of them wears as long as that darn L’Oréal does on me. I’ve yet to find a high end foundation that I like better so I’m not sure why I keep looking when I have a great drugstore option.

Hey Stephanie! Love this video and the energy you put into the comparisons and try-ons. Because I have moody rosacea and lots of high mileage to cover, the only one of these products I might be interested in is the Dr. Jart BB Cream. In bouncing over to your buying link, the information doesn't say which active ingredients are the sunscreens, other than a brief mention of "mineral and chemical" components. Whoa! No chemical sunscreens on my rosacea! Also, the other ingredients are listed in great detail, including several highly fragranced botanical oils in the citrus family; eucalyptus oil; and limonene. Whoa again! I want to even my skintone, not scorch my skin! I guess the name Dr. Jart makes me think this would be a carefully formulated product appropriate for sensitive skin. My mistake! But I appreciate your explanation and your willingness to state your opinion with caveats for those who don't or won't read the ingredients listings themselves. So my expectations about the product were way off - but my expectations for a real evaluation from you were spot on! Thank you again!

Since you brought up forehead lines... I know you have mentioned the Beauty Blender skin tint in previous videos... I really have a love-hate relationship with it BECAUSE of the settling in my forehead lines no matter WHAT I do!!! :( This is one of the reasons I have just ordered the Haus Labs foundation in the hopes I won't have to try as hard with this one. But my question is, do you have any recommendations for the Beauty Blender skin tint on how to prevent it from settling in your forehead lines? Because I'm at my wit's end with it, even though the formula is so good for my dry skin otherwise! (I'm also only in my 30's too with very few fine lines, yet I still have this issue..)

I’m so confused with the shades in the Haus Labs foundation. You and I are usually shades matches or very close but I have 210 and it’s a bit light and you have 160!

I'm reading the comments right now because I was thinking the same thing! I'm so close to exactly her shade match (Armani 5.75 for example), and 160 is way too light for me in Haus Labs. I'm 220 or 230. Maybe this was before they reformulated it?

I’ve heard moderately good to good reviews of the Haus foundation and then one or two that totally hated it…and they live in a hotter, more humid climate. Just goes to show you, like you said!

I got a sam0le of the Haus Labs and found it goes on well but fades or comes off during the day???? Still trying. I've had thee worst time finding a foundation at 60 yrs old. Nars light reflecting in Vienna seems to be OK but now I can't find a powder that doesn't matte but dusts a bit of shine and set. Anyone have any suggestions? I use Makeup Forever HD and Pores no more on hot days

I can't figure out why Haus foundation only lasts a couple of hours on my normal to dry skin...doesn't matter powder, primer etc..

I have the original Armani and it's beautiful - not my fave though. I don't have any of the ones you've talked about, in fact, I've never even seen the RMS one before!!
I've just received the Haus Labs foundation (why aren't they on Amazon? International shipping isn't cheap!). I'm not sure how it's going to wear as I have dry skin, hopefully, a moisturising primer, it will be ok - otherwise I've wasted my money 🤪
I always love these type of vids and this one was great, thank yooooooooooo 😊

I live in the Netherlands and it would cost a total of about $65,- / $70,- to get the Haus Labs foundation here. I'm not going to do that. To me, that's a ridiculous amount of money for something that half the world only has to pay $45,- for. I can buy a hell of a lot of great products for $70,- that do provide free shipping to my country.

@@sylviaamoedo733 that actually makes me a little sad, $118,- for 30ml of foundation....I really do hope you enjoy it. Imagine hating it 😢

I strongly dislike this foundation. I have oily, acne and texture skin with big pores. I shaked the bottle and its feeling too synthetic. My bf said he could see my pores and he said my other foundations never did that. My Kylie foundation does better than this, and my climate is humid. What a bummer. I truly feel Kosas, SB, and Kylie is better; they truly look more natural. This looked like makeup on my face. And the weirdest thing is on my forehead when i moved my eyebrows, the entire area looked plastic. It gave me wrinkles and lines that are not there. I feel as if my skin cant breathe so ultimately its going to age my collagen. Yikes.

Hi! There are several foundations in this video and I’m not sure which you’re referring to, but it doesn’t compatible with your skin or something in your routine for sure

Gluten free makeup? that doesn't really make sense since gluten is something you eat, it does not matter if it's topical so that's an odd thing for Haus labs to advertise

People with gluten sensitivity are also sensitive to topical products that can soak in through the skin and activate a response.

Hi Brenda, Can you clarify the intent of your comment? I test and review foundations and provide information. I'm not a chemist or a lab technician that tests for chemicals. Do you have a question or an issue?
