@@mappy-5934 In-game? Ayleid, Alinor has architecture resembling ayleid somewhat. And Alinor, most likely, is even older than ayleid. Alinor isn't altmer architecture but aldmer, Aldmer being the elves most current day elves (including altmer) descended from. Comparing it to real life architecture I would say it is VERY gothic, but uses building materials comparable to marble. Marble was often used by Greece and the Romans. It looks (ancient) Greco-Roman to some degree, but one needs only to observe the extravagant pointed arches to notice the gothic influence. Except most real life cultures in the past didn't use (white) marble as a building material for gothic architecture. Gothic architecture as we know it can look rather grim and dark (although, very beautifull still), imagine painting gothic cathedrals and churches pearly white or the stones replaced with marble. For the Imperial City specificaly i'd say Greco-roman is sufficient. The high (gothic) arches are more easily noticable in some of the Ayleid ruins than in the Imperial City, admittedly.
@@Talesfromthegreenwood It looks pretty as fuck. The buildings, the streets, the plants. Oversized flower and mushroom trees everywhere. The clothing is the best drip, the dialogues the most random bars. Easily the best DLC feom TES 4.
