    No real skill needed in original camera shot lol imagine if there were no editing tools like this. People would really need to know how to use a camera lol

    Im a novice, can this be done with Final Cut Pro X. I am way out of my league here. :)

      Sort of, you have shape masks but it's limited to circle or square there are no custom shapes and there is no tracking so you have to manually keyframe any movement.

      If you don't have access to DaVinci the next best way to make the masks I would say is Adobe After Effects. There is the tracking function and more ability to create shapes in that program. DaVinci just makes it easier to do

      And then there's Premiere, which fails miserably at tracking almost every time.
      But you can get away with some basic moving shapes.
