Joey is my #1 favorite front man. Saw him during Among The Living tour at a small venue in the SF Bay area. Joey and the band seemed so connected to the audience. Couldn't tell the was having more fun...the band or the audience....
Saw Anthrax for the first time back in October at Aftershock. I'd never listened to them before that, and I've been a fan ever since. Anthrax is easily one of the best bands I've ever seen live

You saw my favorite Anthrax CD/(I mean CASSETTE TAPE) tour, "Among The Living" at the good ole Hammerjacks?! (My hometown is in Springfield, VA...who TOOK OVER for that B-town spot turned into the Baltimore Ravens parking lot for rock shows before and after it shutdown for good)
Out of all the legends of rock and metal ive met joey is and always has been the most genuine down to earth singer. Hes the best of the big 4 easily and he hardly even wants the credit

Stone Trellis too few people cared for the music they made with Bush. They literally couldn’t get a gig with him still in the band. That’s why joey’s in the band and not Bush.

Being a singer I know what he's talking about when he says is this what I sound like cuz what you sound like to yourself is different than what people actually hear. Such a cool guy that I hope to meet some day
Joey is definitely my example for how I try to practice vocals. Too may modern bands go for the "brutal" growls - not enough people out there rocking it like Ronnie James Dio.
When i saw them on the last UK tour with Slayer, Anthrax were incredible, easily as good as when I saw them for the first time in 89. Wish they had a longer set or headlined there own show over here.
Joey is one of my all time favorite singers. He just has that full badass voice but yes just like he said that he gives it his all , You can tell. He is a killer vocalist but to hit some of the notes he does , you better give it your all or it's going to come out falsetto like Tiny Tim.
You won’t notice so much on the quarter but on half yea Joey is native on his moms side and Italian on his dads side lol he fuckin rocks one of my favorite singers he has Bruce Dickinson octaves
so funny watching interviews with Joey. he is from this tiny, nothing, who cares little "city" in upstate New York called Oswego, right on Lake Ontario. population like 20k. my home town also, and he is BY FAR the most successful person ever from this place lol. If you know people from this town, you can instantly tell he is from Oswego just by his accent and the way he talks. always thought it was cool a dude from here was able to make it in the music industry on any scale, let alone how big anthrax is.
he's got chief big way and journey beyond (a journey cover band). there's some of the former here on yt; the latter i'm not sure, but it's worth a look

I saw him in 2016 in Béal Feirste (Ireland) & it was great. Anthrax are my favourite of the big US thrash 4.

Seeing Joey solo before rejoining Anthrax was pretty awesome. The guy is super humble and a pretty damn good drummer and singer.

Joey still has those same bad ass vocal pipes that he did since back in the 80s. Same can’t be said about the other vocalists in the big 4.
