    The Law of Success In Sixteen Lessons By Napoleon Hill (Study Notes)
    The Law of Success is a 1925 book - actually in the form of a set of 15 separate booklets - by Napoleon Hill. It was released as a limited edition of 118 copies and was given to many of Americas most successful individuals, all of whom had contributed to the book's content. One of those copies was used by Orne Publishing to reprint it in 2010.
    The Law of Success in 16 Lessons is an edited version of Napoleon Hill’s first manuscripts which was reworked under advisement of some the contributors and first published in 1928. This version was initially published as a multi-volume correspondence course. Later editions gathered the material into a single hardcover book. The most current version available is through Wilder Publishing.

    Hi Joseph, I hope this message finds you well. This is just a message to say thank you for putting these 'study notes' together. I found these notes during a time in my life when I was uncertain and doubting myself and the last year of working through these notes (I have worked through 'what to say to yourself in self talk' at least 20 times) has not only helped me to redefine my definite chief aim but it has also helped me to grow to levels I did not know I could, previously. As my self image and my mental approach has improved, I have enjoyed success and ticked off objectives that I previously did not think I was capable of... Thank you for helping me with these notes, I appreciate you and your work and I will continue to use these to chase my dreams...

      emanuel swedenborg said that we are surrounded at all times by demons and angels....use whatever terms you like.....and that the demons are always telling us negative things......the angels are always telling us positive things.
      it is a choice as to whom we listen to.
      simplistic, but it works for me.
      also, the story of the native elder being asked by a boy how to get through life being a good person......
      the elder says that every man has 2 wolves battling inside of him. one wolf is jealousy, anger, greed, hatred, shame, guilt and the other wolf is compassion, love, honesty, generosity, kindness.....
      the boy asked which wolf wins? the elder says THE ONE YOU FEED.
      we make a choice each day how we think of ourselves, our lives, our dreams.... we can love ourselves and be our own cheering section or we can hate ourselves and be our biggest detractors.
      it's a choice.
      peace.

    Hey, in Napolean's 3rd lesson, self-confidence, it says to "associate with those that raise your self-confidence and not lower it." I listened to your Mind Map on 'The Four Agreements' and it was gifted to me two days later. So I have been reading it as well. The 2nd agreement states, "Don't take anything personally" and it goes on to clarify that compliments as well as put downs should not be taken personally. How would you merge Napolean's 3rd lesson with Don's 2nd agreement. They seem to be in minor conflict. Don's 2nd agreement almost seems directly related to confidence and indicates that others should have 0 effect on how you view yourself no matter their "status" I am really taking the 4 agreements and practicing them with passion and feel I am missing the correlation. Would Don's 2nd agreement and Napolean's 3rd lesson be connected through influence instead of direct Word Projection on one another?

    • @coryharmony3919
      @coryharmony3919 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just feel the agreements indicate that everything can be generated from within by observing and practicing the 4 agreements daily. So would that mean the "Raising confidence by association" be an agreement to take their influence personal? I'm only asking because this has been my biggest struggle area growing up. Thank you.

    • @JosephRodrigues
      @JosephRodrigues  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Sometimes you'll find yourself around people who may indirectly or unknowingly lower your self-confidence with what they say or do. If you find yourself around a situation like that, don't allow that to impact your self-esteem. You'll get better at this with practice.
