You sell yourself short. Great rendition of Sigmar and Azazel and a nice summary of the convoluted history that is Warhammer. Azazel is the easiest as there is the model and rules for him. I'd personally like to see Dechala the Denied One, the tragic but feisty High Elf Princess, abandoned by her family to a Slaanesh Daemon Prince but who fights her way free. The problem I see with her is that she is not a Daemon Prince but a Champion of Slaanesh.
@@jiado6893 Yes I find her more Slaanesh themed than any of the male Warlords in the lore like like Sigvald actually (although there was that general with a similar snake lower body and multiple arms - forget his name but I have his figure). Thinking about it the only other Daemon legendary Lord that Slaanesh can have is the Herald of Slaanesh and her lore makes her more a solo character than the leader of an army. Hard to plan and lead an army when you are forever dancing.

Certainly Morathi's sub faction should have some affinity with Slaanesh - she being able to use Daemonettes and other lesser daemons while Slaanesh armies should be able to recruit Dark Elves. Maybe a reworking of the cultist buildings could allow such recruitment as well as the seduction power.
I remember trying to look up lore on him a few years back on TH-cam I could only find The Great Book of Grudges video. So glad that more and more people can learn about this guy.

You can always read about something but seeing how other people speculate or discuss something with a passion is why we watch these content creators in the first place. It's how I even found The Great Book of Grudges been subscribed ever since.
The fact that Slaanesh made the man who killed the only woman Sigmar ever truly loved (and who also happened to be that killer’s sister) is pretty damn chilling.
Ideally I could see each Daemon faction getting a Greater Daemon Lord (currently what we have.) a Daemon Prince lord (Azael, Valkia etc..) and a Mortal Lord that is aspiring for Daemonhood. (Sigvald, move him from WoC to Slaanesh and bring Mortal units like Slaaneshi Chaos Warriors etc...)
I agree with you. Also a lower daemon (blue scribes, epidemius, skulltaker, mask of slaneesh). with that we would have 4 lords for each faction and it would be very cool, giving all the layers of each faction (from the mortals to the gods favorites greater daemons)

Man Azazel Story is epic. Never heared of him. Man I‘m a great khorne Fan but you got me into loving this character and this means a lot 😂. Awesome work as always keep going.
I’m thinking what model would be most fitting for him. I was thinking they could use the rigging of the Keeper of Secrets, but turn the deltoid set of arms into wings. The Daemon Prince model seems bulkier and less lithe than what the awesome art has. Plus it’s been in plenty of use.
Your voice acting for Azazel whether it was fun or not was enjoyable regardless Italian, thank you for sharing some lore and background thoughts on Azazel and I do hope CA considers this character in the future for DLC
The reason Valkia is weird is because she isn't exactly a demon prince but she isn't mortal either. Khorne brought her back to life. Khorne personally reshaped her and bestowed her with a fraction of his power... Which is different than the typical daemon prince. She is special, she is the bride of khorne, a perfect reflection of battle prowess.
For WoC Sigval already holds the spot, but maybe if monogods get once LL Daemon prince and a generic counterpart (that all could give some use except maybe Khorne)
i think we will ever get some one undivided for chaos warriors or some one like hellbrass or gutrot spume they give them Belacor as an flc. Azazel i see being part of slanesh probably with an empire dlc
i hope they don't separate the WoC and Daemons too much. the dream for a WoC remake is something similar to the scrap system to make every unit pledge to one of the gods or stay Undivided
I personaly think each deamon faction will get a mortal Legendary Lord. Because of how closely these characters are to those chaos gods. So think of Valkia, Festus, Egrimm and Dechala (i would put Sigvald here but... you know).
I still wonder how CA will manage Chaos as a whole. Will we get mono-god mortal factions? Will the respective mortals like Valkya or Sigvald be included into the mono-god rosters? What about Chaos Undivided? Will Archaon join Demon Prince OC Man as an Undivided character that has access to all mortal units? What about Norsca? Is Norsca gonna remain separate from the Warriors of Chaos? 'Cause Wulfric, Throgg and Kholek aren't mono-god material. Where do you draw the line between Norsca and WoC characters, seeing as to how a bunch of them were originally Norscans or members of other barbarian tribes? Would that make Tamurkhan a mortal lord for Nurgle, a Daemon Prince or a new Norscan lord for a Kurgan faction perhaps?
Im guessing we have monogod factins and then warriors for mortals and demons for demon. Ofc currently demons have mortals but maybe CA will move them? Archaeon undivided, azazel slanesh etc. Doesnt have to but has incentive to do so.
The whole chaos roster is a mess in fantasy, they handled it way better with AoS. Personally I think the mono god daemon factions should have their specialized mortals/beastmen too and let WoC/Beastmen focus on the undivided in its entirety instead of mixing the heavily themed mono god units/characters in there too, and leave Norsca for creative freedom. But that's just imo and I think they wanted to do this for fantasy just they never put time and effort into the chaos factions to flesh out their rosters before they scrapped the setting, and instead did it with AoS. Ideally the Daemons of Chaos should just get way more daemon types, but I doubt we'll get that unless GW has some plans to expand them (which I doubt, AoS saw a huge line of new mono god models, if they make more daemons for fantasy TT, then people of 40k and AoS will rightfully want them too, which I'd want but chaos is barely their focus for new models), hence they need the mono god mortals or their factions will feel very underwhelming compared to the others and undivided risks getting bloated. But as said, it's a mess. The chaos factions are stretched across Beastmen, Warriors of Chaos, each 4 Daemon factions and now Norsca, meanwhile in fantasy TT Norsca didn't exist, Daemons were 1 faction and the 3 of them were meant to cover eachother. But it just doesn't work in Total War, people will be massively disappointed by reused recolors/units in other factions (as many are with Tzeentch, and Chaos already suffers from furies, hounds, forsaken and spawn in that regard) and will be also massively disappointed if a faction barely feels fleshed out.
I’m hoping mono-god factions end up with at least the demon lords we already have and a mortal lord, and maybe just combine the WoC and demon rosters into four mono-god factions with updated visuals for god specific WoC units, which seems like a pretty realistic possibility. What would be cool, but probably less likely is if you make Belakor the main LL for Undivided, along with Archaon, Kolek, etc. and instead of OC LL demon prince, you move that whole system over to generic LLs, maybe making it work similar to how greater demon ascension works now where if you reach a certain level threshold with a generic mortal chaos lord/sorcerer there’s a chance they can become a demon prince with all the customization abilities OC man has, and maybe with an individual god loyalty tracker so you don’t have to replay the Undivided campaign five times to see each armor set.
I always end up having to rewatch these videos because I get distracted by the video clips. All I can think about is how crappy they look on my computer and how incredible they look here; I need a new rig.
I have been concerned for a while now, that mono factions wont get as many LLs because its all "chaos". Personally, I think they need to treat mono factions as differently as they treat high, dark, and wood elves. After all, these factions also have reskins with different rules, so chaos shouldnt be any different. You cant confederate, say Slaanesh and Khorne, so if they limit LLs for each thats not really fair to fans of a particular mono-faction like myself. I really have my own favorites I want to see added (Valkia, Arbaal, Skulltaker) and so my chances of getting my favorite is much lower if they dont do each of the 5 their own dues, but then they COULD do 2 for daemons of ? and 2 for mortals and allow each to recruit LLs from the other once defeated or something....

I hope he remains horrific and demonic. I find a serious lacking of actual demonic looking stuff in slaanesh. Really preferred the old monstrous looking Keeper of Secrets over the age of sigmar we got.
They have so many good demon characters, I really hope they dont just do mediocre deep cuts from 20 years ago to satisfy fantasy player nostalgia. Bring in Ssyl Eske or the contorted epitome. Bring in horticulus slimux.

"Attack the nearest thing" usually is played out as a Direct Damage spell, I suspect that's what would happen if they went that route.
It makes sense if you think of the entities in the unit turning on each other

Really, really want Azazel - the Sigmar trilogy really is a fine read.
