My girlfriend would complain to me how anyone could be happy to wake up in the morning. Sometimes I thought that she had a death wish. She was like her dad a heavy drinker.

This was one of the best shorts I"ve seen recently. 8 minutes and a whole story, beginning-middle-end, unfolded. No fade to black without a resolution as most of these are. And the story was engaging and the actors were believable.

Like the short of the girl who went to see her brother and fell in love with his friend. That was awesome. One of the best shorts that invoked feeling and loss. Especially when the girl played the guitar and looked in her eyes. She kept rewinding that section over n over.

An awesome short, honestly the best I've seen on DUST in some time. My only minor complaint is that after turning the volume all the way up to hear the film, particularly the whispering towards the end (which was actually well captured and not a flaw with the film), then to suddenly get SUBSCRIBE TO DUST blaring out of my speakers and rattling the windows is kind of annoying.

This film story is almost the opposite to my experience where I have had to watch my wife deteriorate both mentally and physically from Huntington's Disease over the last 20 years so far. I still care for her at home because I know she is still lucid at times trapped inside a body that doesn't function. She hasn't been able to talk at all for 5 years and even a hand or finger raise of acknowledgement is very difficult lately. I can barely remember her voice but one thing is still the same. Her belly laugh is the sweetest sound and it's the strongest evidence of her still being there. Unfortunately we don't have this technology, all we have is photos, videos, mementos and our memories.

I’m moved. Really extraordinary. I’ve worked through four years of Dust productions, with only a few having pulled me in this way. I’ll have to take time to really absorb where this took me, but I’m confident it will be a place of strength. How fantastic it would be to have such technology to use correctly. Since we don’t, I’ll look at my wife, really listen, let her know everything is alright. Now, while I’m here with her. Thank you. Great work. The production, the actors, the set, job very well done!

OMG that was so good!!!! Life is so short and to be able to spend another hour with the one you love would be so nice!!! Brought tears to my eyes.
