It sounds great. Thank you Cooper for playing hurt. We haven't seen dedication and professionalism like this since Jordan scored 38 points in game 5 of the '97 NBA Finals. It looks like a promotional item made for the 'film' Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. Cowabunga!
I am Highly Interested in Buying one .. I would love to hear it Tuned to Eb doing VH & SRV.. Those 80s Tribute Pickups sound Off the Charts Excellent !! ..
I have an original. It's a great guitar. Heavy at 9 lbs. They fixed every issue with the Les Paul on it, from ergonomics to tuning stability. They messed up this reissue though. One of the core features of the original is the dead straight string pull over the nut to the tuners, which makes tuning stability really easy. You just cut straight nut slots. The hockey stick headstock messes that up. Makes me wonder if it'll hold tuning.
I actually love this thing, I just wish they'd chosen better finishes. The iguana burst is the only good one. This guitar wants to be a royal purple or a cherry burst.
I like the look. However, I tried one and it wasn’t for me. The pickups are way too hot. Measured around 16.10 in the bridge. Borderline unusable for me.
I like it, if it had a larger neck, I'd go for one. The slim taper is just too small for my hands. I just got my wish for the reissue I'd like to see... ES-330 FTW!
It seems like a well built guitar but it's shape is just too far over the top. I can see people, who are really into the '80s hair metal scene, liking it, however. It definitely won't sell well, though, and Gibson will not keep it around very long. Something that whacky looking will only have a niche appeal.
Which one of you is Cooper Greenberg? The only reason I ask is you never say your names every single episode or put the names onscreen every single episode.
I love everything about it except for the shape. Gibson also made the MIII. If it was shaped like the MIII, I would be interested. This thing is just too ugly for my taste. 🤔

I really want to check one out in person.

Because this is so different from everything else dropping I absolutely love it. Can’t wait to see someone use this on stage.

Totally agree, the finish choices are very odd here
I liked the Theodore and I unironically love this.
Probably still wouldn’t buy it over an SG though. Great demo and playing as always!
I think the Theodore looks cool.
The Victory as well just not in green..
It has a lot going for it! Interesting features, ebony . . . someone thought about this 😅 I like the Wine Red Burst look.
Reminds me of the EBMM Stingray
I would absolutely rather have a Theodore, especially the original version with the P-90s.
For the price, stainless steel frets, and locking tuners would have been nice.
I have always liked the Moderne.

Just in time for Halloween 🎸

The pickguard looks out of place. If it didn’t have one it would look 100x better
Perhaps a clear one might look nicer. I agree. But then again… maybe I should just save more for PRS
Most impressive and beautiful guitar I have ever seen in my entire life.
The body is nice to me, the headstock not so much. I don't like the mix. I would like to play it.
Sounds great.
Interesting that the company that gets all hot and bothered over body shape use is using a design similar to other brands.
Gibson is the Harley Davidson of guitar companies.
Then why are you watching this and taking time to try and insult others? It’s just a sweet free guitar video! Enjoy!
@@benlogan430 why are you taking the time to respond to me? just watch the video and enjoy!
Man that’s cool!

I love it
Something else from the 80s that should have been left there.
don’t care for the look, but it sounds good , sounds like a Gibson
