Oregon is coming in with a 💩 ton of tradition!! Oregon has also whooped up on the boys from the Big 10 these past few years!! Oregon is coming and it’s going to be fun as they tear up the Big 10! Bring it!!
Oregon should be competing for the Big Ten championship most years. Lanning is a very good recruiter, and joining the B1G only helps. Oregon was already top 10 in tv views before joining, and they will get even more now. Oregon already has the best facilities in the country and has an insane new practice facility on the way. Oregon had the 9th best scoring defense last year in a conference with much better offenses and QBs. Oregon will do great in the Big Ten.
They were not top ten on average. Only after playing CU and we all know about that CU hype last year. The B1G has more top 25 recruits at QB than the Pac 12 did. They also had way better defenses. The B1G dwarfs the Pac 12 in NFL talent. We will see how many B1G championships they get in the next 5 years.
@Tips4Gamers1 Recruits aren't production. Caleb Williams Michael Penix Jr. Bo Nix Noah Fifita Cam Ward Shedeur Sanders The Pac-12 was loaded with QB talent, while the Big Ten had JJ McCarthy, and no one else who could be listed on the same level of the above QBs. I agree that being in the Big Ten will be nothing but good for TV ratings. Getting to play Ohio State and Michigan is massive compared to USC and Washington.
They are production, which is why they get more players drafted. They literally land better recruits, and send those players to the NFL. They also have won more natties, past and present because of these recruits that produce. Had more playoff appearances, and lead in almost every statistic that you look at when comparing both conferences. Penix came from the B1G so they know him very well. The B1G is gaining in QB production and will only get better as the future becomes the present. Also, does CJ Stroud ring a bell? The B1G has been landing more and more top-end recruits, and last year the B1G had more top-25 QBs than the SEC did. It is sign of production for the future and the present. The defenses in the B1G blow the Pac-12 defenses out of the water. The top three defenses last year were in the B1G. The amazing QBs this last year for the Pac-12 did not face such talent and when they did they lost. Washington can tell you all about Michigan's defense.
@Tips4Gamers1 I agree that in the future, the QB play will get better, but last year was awful. You point out that Penix looked bad in the NCG, and I agree. Michigan's defense rattled him, and he played one of his worst games. Tennessee and Missouri scored more than their season average against Iowa and Ohio State. They had good defenses but were also benefitting from playing in a conference with a lot of bad offenses. I think this season is going to be great because it will settle this whole debate. If Oregon and USC light up these defenses, I will be proven right. If they don't, I will be wrong. As far as the draft, 3/6 of the QBs taken in the first round were from the Pac-12, including the number 1 overall. Penix was drafted based on his performance at Washington, not Indiana.
@@zoam7881 Penix was drafted because he was good at both Indiana and Washington! We in the Big Ten were well aware of him. He did better in the PAC-12 against weaker defenses week after week. The numbers don't lie.
Dan Lanning is the reason for recruiting being up, not the B1G. He just got here a 2 seasons ago. Your numbers show only that. No assumptions, just facts. 😊 Sco my Ducks!
Joining the B1G doesn’t help Oregon with facilities and or the NIL collectives. Oregon has the best facilities in the nation. Most would also say that division street is run better than any other nil collective in the country.
I know they claim to have the best, but um that is definitely not a fact whatsoever, but ok, so what? What is your point here? Oh took offense by dude saying how big and physical the guys in the BIG are? 🙄 Dumb
Or just talking a bunch a nonsense nobody wants to read or cares too much about. Or offense he said it's an advantage in recruiting to be in the BIG, OMG, even lamer dude. It's clearly fact. Oregon always recruited well, sure buddy we get it, but never really top 5 well. Fringe top 10 sure. Awesome, feel better now. You guys are relevant, sure. Does that help your ego bubba? Huh? Well, did they recently win the Pac-12 title? Anyways.....it clearly has helped land recruits this year, it's ok to admit that it probably at least partially if not wholly because Oregon switched to a better tougher more respected conference. You will survive and thrive still, it won't kill you to be real with one's self. Cheers
A lot of noise for someone who hasn't done anything yet in the Big 10. Nuittany Lions got robbed of a share at least, of the national championship. Undefeated big10 champs and rose bowl winners with Ki-janna Carter running the ball down everybody's throat. Damn I'm blanking if he won the Heisman that year or if he was robbed. Either way they got robbed of a natty that particular year in my opinion. Penn St has been very good since joining the Big 10. I don't think they have quite reached how good they were throughout the 90's, but they were a very tough opponent that I remember as a teen , I would be worried about, because they were that good. Anyway I'm hoping they do not get to that point again for me, even though they are and have been close for well ever since Joe.
Lol, it's like you wrote your wish list to Santa. Oregon has zero chance of beating Michigan in Ann Arbor, much less win the BIG. It just will never occur, definitely not this year at least. Could not even win the weak soft Pac-12. So ummmm ya, anyway cheers little fella, your team is legit sure, there you go, congratulations.
I think Oregon is stepping into the Big ten as the second best team in the conference behind OSU. I believe Michigan has taken a big step back this off-season. Penn State is right up there as well. The first few years with the expanded big 10 will shape the balance of power for years to come. USC needs to get its act together. Washington has to find a way to sustain its success.
I would have to put them into the 4th spot until they prove otherwise. Im not trying to bash them when I say that, either. There is just so much more talent in the B1G than people think. The B1G teams wear on each other, and it has been a grinder league for so long. Penn State is way stronger than people tend to believe as well. Penn State has been crucified because they struggle to beat UM and OSU. If other big programs had to play that schedule every year, they would struggle like hell, too. Over time, Oregon will fit right in and be a thorn in the side of whomever plays them. Even this year, they are going to be very scary.
@@T4GSports you do understand that Oregon is built like an SEC team or a big 10 team if you want to say that. The roster that Oregon has along with the defensive and offensive players upfront has been compared to Ohio State. Especially, if you fully compare their rosters Ohio State and Oregon is like so close to each other. You are splitting hairs about who is better. There is definitely a gap in talent between Penn State and Michigan and Ohio State and Oregon. That’s why they come in as the second best team. Michigan has too many questions In Penn State has questions too because they don’t really have an offense
Funny because Oregon has a big fat loss coming in Ann Arbor this season young fella. Maybe you have been doing entirely too much thinking recently? I'm sure that's probably it. Oregon will finish maybe 5th if they are lucky this year. Enjoy not winning championships, as ya'll are pretty used to that anyway by now. Couldn't even beat Washington. Twice, SMH. Michigan defense is even better, and they are going to eat that team for breakfast, lunch ,dinner ,and dessert. It will be amusing to watch ya'll try so hard and by seasons end nobody will see any Oregon fans in the comments, well because they won't have anything to say
Oregon is the new power house in this division. Their Program is boomin with resources and recruiting is very good. . Dan Lanning has somthing special goin on their! Thats why he turn Alabama.down.
There is no divisions anymore in the B1G. That changed this year. So are you saying that they are the powerhouse of the entire B1G? Dan Lanning also turned it down because he knew his team was going to the B1G. I would have too if I was coaching at Oregon and heading to the B1G.
Surprised to hear that Oregon and Washington don't bring in views. That's only half right. Oregon has been top 10 views hip over the last decade. I'm not naive enough to think their games rival OSU Michigan or Penn State's rivalry games. However, when it comes to eyes out west, it was Oregon, USC, and everyone else... Stanford couldn't fill a stadium even when they were winning 10 games a year.
Reality check: Oregon with Bo Nix and the rest of the players who hit the NFL list to Washington twice. So Oregon has some rebuilding to do as well. Regardless, welcome to the Big10, Ducks! Of the slate of PAC12 schools coming over I think Lanning’s Oregon fits the best. And let’s be honest, if it comes down to Oregon vs Ohio State for the conference, I’m a Ducks fan all the way, just like many Oregonians cheered for Michigan over Washington in the final last year.
Thanks for the good content. So what do you expect Oregon’s record to be? I think Oregon has the second best roster in the Big 10. I don’t think you gave enough credit to the talent on the roster and the fact that Dan Lanning and Phil Knight make one of the top 3 recruiting powers in the country
I think 2 losses, but Oregon is very talented so we will see. The travel, weather, new environments, and the talent level in the B1G just makes it intriguing as to how well they will do. I would be greatly impressed if they won the B1G this year or if they went undefeated during the regular season. To the point you made about us not giving them enough credit. I probably could have talked a little more about that things that impressed me. I do think they have an absolute unit of a roster, but the B1G is just dirty football. So many times I have thought growing up that this team or that team shouldn't be able to compete and then they do. I love Oregon's coach and players, but this is new waters that they are in so I am more on the skeptical side. I don't dislike them, I think that they are a really good football team. Just want them to show consistency before I crown them the second or first best team in the B1G. I think Oregon is going to be scary during the Buckeyes game because that crowd is going to go nuts. Buckeyes better be ready.
Comes down to qb play and defensive line. Hell Oregon’s backup qb is better than most of the BIG. Name a qb in the BIG better than Gabriel and as for d-line Oregon is right at or near the top.
The top three defenses in the NCAA were all B1G teams. Their D-lines out performed Oregon's last year by far, so I am not 100% with you on that. However, they do have a great team, I'll give you that. That is true, but that isn't a normal situation for Oregon. They don't usually have this level of QBs and those QBs will have to face tougher competition than what they are used to. It is going to be very exciting to see this season. Hope the best for them.
@@T4GSportswhat are you talking about, Oregon is known for great quarterbacks going back decades. Recently Mariotta, Herbert, and Nix the last couple years. Not sure what you’re saying. As for the defensive line you better do your research on Oregon. They’re loaded.
@@landisreed9488 Mariota was a long time ago, and he got crushed when he faced a B1G defense in the natty. Do you remember that game? The guys you mentioned were not on the team at the same time. This is the only year in Oregon's history where you can say that your backup is better than most in the B1G. Both players were transfer portal players that were ranked extremely high. You can thank NIL for that one, because they landed those types of QBs in portal before like this. You can thank the B1G for that as well. The likelihood of them landing those guys if they had to stay in a dying Pac-12 is unlikely.
@@T4GSportsI was at the Michigan State vs Oregon game in 2014. I’m well aware how great that Buckeye team was. But this Oregon team is built more like Georgia than those old Duck teams. Oregon will mash Big10 teams not called Ohio State. They will go toe to toe and may the best team win.
As a die hard Nittany Lions 🦁 fan, I will make it simple!!! You guys have talent, but are you crazy thinking your going to dominate blue blood programs like my Nittany Lions 🦁, Michigan or Ohio State? Good luck, your going to need it!!!! WE ARE
Will be interesting to see how the BIG deals with a speed and space type of offense. The only team I think that can keep pace with the ducks scoring wise is Ohio State. Most the BIG offenses aren’t designed to score a lot of points. Teams will also have to adjust to Oregon. I think Oregon will boat race majority of the teams they play this year. Oregon was a top ten defense last year and they played a slew of better offenses in last years schedule. I’d be shocked if they aren’t top ten in scoring defense again. They’re gonna blow alot of BIG teams out based off style of play
You’ll face much better defenses in the Big Ten and most teams will play ball control. They’ll try to choke you out with possession time and keep you off the field, taking away your ability to boat race. I understand if you can control the game and get turnovers boat racing can work, but just look at what happened when Washington faced Michigan. It’s also a week in, week out grind. It’s bruising, every week, even teams like Illinois and Nebraska. The size of the lines and physicality takes its toll over time, it’s not about one game matchups that will determine your fate.
@@naujelbr Oregon runs the ball and stops the run much better than Washington tho. Oregon is good at the LOS on both sides of the ball. They can stop the run with the best of them with the D line they have. Oregon isn’t built like most former PAC teams they’re built like an SEC or BIG team. You guys are acting like they’re U$C
"Oregon was a top-ten defense last year" Congratulations! So help me here, #1 Michigan, #2 Ohio State, #3 Penn State, #4 Iowa, and you are #9. What is your point? You reference something not only Oregon is not as good at but your conference is not either. Good luck Nebraska II.
I think they will do okay in B1G .It will be interesting to see how the playoffs look this year .It will be fun to see if Oregon receives more players or do some jump ship to other teams? Welcome to the B1G.
They should get to the playoffs. They have a great team. In our opinion, they will definitely see a bump in players. The transfer portal should favor them as well. Oregon will fit in nicely. I'm super happy that they are in the B1G.
Do big ten refs = pac 12 refs (no g.e.d. required to be a former pac12 ref) seriously. Hopefully the big ten will let Oregon play instead of throwing fifty five flags!! And I'm not saying pac 12 refs screwed Oregon they did it to every team!!
Lol so you aren't complaining about the refs not letting Oregon play? Also, I didn't know getting your G.E.D taught you about football. Huh, learn something new everyday.
@@T4GSports Yes. Because he never turned down the job. Alabama knew he wasn’t leaving and his enormous buyout was a non starter. Schools don’t contact the coaches directly, they contact their agents.
They could take the conference and win the Big Ten Championship. They have the players. My thinking is they’ll go maybe 10-2 or so, probably still get into the expanded playoffs easily if only have 2 losses.
Fantastic excuse for Ohio State losing to the Ducks the last time they played. Excellent usage of regrettable circumstance, thus eliminating the chance that they actually got beaten fair and square. Your excuse game's understatement is well done, not calling attention to the fact that they were beaten soundly. I salute your ability to make a loss actually sound like a victory. I am now very curious to hear the excuses for the recent losses to Michigan. I am guessing you have a very well thought out, nuanced excuse for those losses as well?
The fact you said that Oregon will not necessarily benefit to the Big Ten conference that much as far as views is the worst take and makes you sound uneducated. The fact is when you have to take into account that Oregon was mostly on the Pac 12 network where they can’t get normal viewership like the Big Ten would get and the other conferences the fact that they are still even within striking distance of Big Ten teams teams just shows how valuable they are for viewership. It’s not a risk for the Big Ten as far as Oregon because Oregon has been for a while one of the best teams as far as viewership and they do it in spite of the Pac 12, but now that they have a conference that is not holding them back it made nothing but sense for the Big Ten to go get Oregon.
They are a part time member for a reason... Their views will be great this year, but that will be because mainly of the B1G. There are statistics that prove this.
Let's see, what team hoisted the national championship trophy last year... there's no need to answer because, there's only one place and that's first place and that wasn't oragin... unless you want a participation trophy LOL
Come on, Ducks lol that comeback was weak sauce. I was hoping for more of a good and respectful debate with solid opinions lol not you just correcting someone's grammar. Anyways, we appreciate you guys commenting!
When College Football 25 comes out, can you try to rebuild or at least play as my Sam Houston State Bearkats? Or at least do a video over them and how they rank coming into this season…
The fact you said that Oregon will not necessarily benefit to the Big Ten conference that much as far as views is the worst take and makes you sound uneducated. Do you know it’s funny this guy talking about how loud some other stadiums are Oregon has one of the loudest stadiums in the country and they have one of the least populated stadiums in comparison to the rest of the top 25. The fact that they are even top five with how small Autzen stadium is just shows how we have the best fans. The funny thing is with schools like Ohio State. It seems like they were more afraid of going to Oregon to play then the other way around because Ohio State would only play us a couple of years ago we went to Buckeye Stadium, which is supposed to be this vaunted place to play again how did that work out? You did get a couple of things right but to act like Oregon is not one of the top programs in the country and that it is a mutually beneficial thing instead of The big 10, doing Oregon a favor which they did not do. I mean, you’ll see when it’s between Ohio State and Oregon for the championship. Oregon is going to do what they have done in the past and in recent memory, they will continue to improve and will most likely be 11-1 or 12-0 when the regular season is over. No one is scared of the Big Ten. They’ve had 3 to 4 good teams for the past few years. No one scared of Ohio State especially not Oregon
They will be a full member sooner rather than later. This football is going to be so exciting that I think these viewership numbers are going to skyrocket. With them playing at B1G noon, there will be so many people watching because its new. I can't wait to watch them against the original B1G members.
Appreciate the Oregon coverage, but everything Oregon has and is doing has very very little to do with the BIG. They have not even played a game under that banner yet. These schools and their fans will find out though…
Also, Oregon went into the Big House and the Shoe and has won. If the rest of the BIG followers are all like you there are some rude awakenings about to happen.
Nebraska tried to show the B1G what a really good Big-12 team is like and the B1G wasn't so impressed. Oregon is a great team, but the B1G is a grinder conference so it won't be easy.
Based on how teams have transitioned to the Big 10 in the past, Oregon will probably struggle. I think OSU, Michigan, and Penn State will probably be more consistent at the top of the Big 10 over the next decade. That being said I expect Oregon to do the best of all the teams coming to the Big 10.
I agree with literally everything you said. Great comment! I think Oregon is great, but dominating in the B1G consistently is tough as hell. I'm super happy that they are in the B1G, though. It is an upgrade for both the B1G and for Oregon.
It’s football. Oregon is bigger, faster, stronger, deeper than almost any team in the country. Their struggle will be getting their backups in by half time due to everyone taking the air out of the ball.
@@brucebane5602 I will absolutely call that BS. Do me a favor, watch the Oregon spring fame for the first quarter and immediately switch over to the Texas spring game. I thought Oregon was small when I turned them on but was blown away by how small. This happened randomly for me but really exposed how small Oregon is. I already know the consistent size of the Big Ten teams and the speed of Ohio State's receivers and cornerbacks is above the Pac 12's teams coming over. Big Ten fans understand they play a season in which any team can trip you up and every game will be physical. The old adage that the Big Ten is slow has been proven outdated. You will now have to play a full conference schedule that will beat on you week after week. Keep talking Nebraska II.

We did our homework just fine. They ended up proving themselves as a great addition to the B1G. They had a rough beginning of the season then turned it on very well after that. The B1G is the toughest conference in college football.

They definitely should do some work on the bottom half teams and even some of the top teams. It is going to be very interesting how the season plays out.
He wouldn't even be at Oregon still if they were still in the Pac 12 more than likely. They also got better recruits when they joined the B1G, so nice try. Even some recruits talk about their interest grew with them going to the B1G.
The likelihood of him staying with Oregon if they had to stay in the dying Pac 12 is highly unlikely. He was also a better recruiter when his team joined the B1G. Being a good recruiter at Georgia and Alabama is common for all coaches that coach there. He didn't recruit as well at Memphis and / or Sam Houston state. He is a great recruiter, but to say that joining the B1G didn't launch it to the next level is nonsense. The B1G saved Oregon.
@@T4GSports If Oregon doesn't leave the Pac-12 then neither does Washington and the Pac-12 never dies but that's a whole other discussion. You should check out some of his early interviews. Believe it or not, some people don't need to add another figure to their multi-million dollar salaries to be happy and Oregon has literally anything and everything he needs to win a national title, regardless of conference, if he's good enough.
@Tips4Gamers1 Recruits aren't production.
Caleb Williams
Michael Penix Jr.
Bo Nix
Noah Fifita
Cam Ward
Shedeur Sanders
The Pac-12 was loaded with QB talent, while the Big Ten had JJ McCarthy, and no one else who could be listed on the same level of the above QBs.
Sco my Ducks!
Joining the B1G 100% helped, so did NIL, and the Transfer Portal.
Joining the B1G doesn’t help Oregon with facilities and or the NIL collectives. Oregon has the best facilities in the nation. Most would also say that division street is run better than any other nil collective in the country.
Not true. It will definitely help with NIL and it will greatly help when the NCAA goes into TV revenue sharing with its players.
Cheers

The B1G fans are going to be upset and Oregon is just going to smile 😃
Lol, it's like you wrote your wish list to Santa. Oregon has zero chance of beating Michigan in Ann Arbor, much less win the BIG. It just will never occur, definitely not this year at least. Could not even win the weak soft Pac-12. So ummmm ya, anyway cheers little fella, your team is legit sure, there you go, congratulations.
They didn't end up being too upset. However, Oregon is a great addition to the B1G.
Then why couldn't they win the Pac-12 last year?
@@T4GSports when did he mention last year at all in this ?
Oregon should compete for championships in the Big 10 but it will be a challenge no doubt. Looking forward to it though!
@@T4GSports I meant their schedule lol ..not division.. Yes that team he has now. Is ready.
Gotcha lol
It is going to be an awesome season. This is by far the most excited I have ever been for college football and that is saying something.
Yessir it's a great time for college football.
Go buffs.
I feel the reality of cold cold games and hard nose power football is going to hit Oregon hard. This is not PAC football ,records aside.
We agree completely.
Or SEC football - that Lanning was used to !
If you brought in the views the Pac-12 would still be alive.
Reality check:
Oregon with Bo Nix and the rest of the players who hit the NFL list to Washington twice.
@@landisreed9488 Beating Michigan and Penn State is no easy task.
Finally, someone who understands the B1G. It's a grind every week of mammoth human beings.

Yeah, it was all the refs fault... Great point...

It wasn't during the regular season. This issue is, B1G teams also go to the playoffs too.
Oregon couldn’t get past Washington? Twice? Oregon may have some good teams but not like Big 10/ 12

The B1G just got a lot more exciting with adding them.
Big ten maybe helping out Oregon but I think it's big Dan the man has the most to do with it.
Do you really think he would have turned down the Alabama job if Oregon had to stay in the Pac-12?
@@T4GSports Yes. Because he never turned down the job. Alabama knew he wasn’t leaving and his enormous buyout was a non starter. Schools don’t contact the coaches directly, they contact their agents.
They'll be about a scary as they were in their past conference struggling to beat Washington.
Riiiight
Ohio State did what they needed to do when it counted. Oregon is a great addition to the B1G though.
Not very
Oregon has one of the loudest stadiums in the country. It may have fewer people but it’s roars. You all been drinking your own koolaid for too long.
It is a great stadium, but you can't play at home for the entire season.

We tried to tell you. Oregon had a great season though. They are a great addition to the B1G.
You mean, the same Oregon that lost to Washington twice? That same Washington that got owned by Michigan in the Natty? Nah. Welcome to the B10.
What does last year have to do with anything ? I see big 10 intelligence is about on par with the former pac 12 tards!!!
When College Football 25 comes out, can you try to rebuild or at least play as my Sam Houston State Bearkats?
Or at least do a video over them and how they rank coming into this season…
The Big 10 is gonna have to adjust to Oregon and USC I promise you that! The big 10 is in for a rude awakening
Oregon had a great season, but Ohio State didn't need to adjust for anything.
The Pac 12 network was crap. I know lots of Duck fans who didn't have it. Watch the numbers explode withvthis new contract.
@@brucebane5602 Why didn't they get their backups in last year?
I can’t wait to come back here after Oregon whoops Ohio state lol Big 10 fans sound a lot like SEC fans 😂 delusional
Are the B1G fans still delusional?

“This is gonna help Oregon in recruiting “
Oregon has been consistently recruiting top 10 - Top 15 the last 10 plus years
The B1G is a much tougher conference. It is the toughest conference in college football.
This guy didn’t do his homework. A lot of half truths without actual analysis. I get your a B1G homer but if you are doing a spot on Oregon dig deep because a lot of what was said is half true or just not accurate.
We did our homework just fine. They ended up proving themselves as a great addition to the B1G. They had a rough beginning of the season then turned it on very well after that. The B1G is the toughest conference in college football.

A politician would say that you guys are already better when they haven't even proven themselves yet.
This isn't the Pac-12 anymore.
I respect you and your content, keep grinding. And yes the B1G has been more stacked, but real fans will always protect their respected conference.
We just believed that they still needed to prove themselves. They will have plenty of time this season to do that.
Oregon will embarrass the bottom half of the big they will know they don’t want to play at autzen afternoon night sept-November green black or white out it’s loud as f* boy
They definitely should do some work on the bottom half teams and even some of the top teams. It is going to be very interesting how the season plays out.
Dan Lanning deserves a ton of credit for recruiting success Way more so than joining the big 10.
He wouldn't even be at Oregon still if they were still in the Pac 12 more than likely.
They also got better recruits when they joined the B1G, so nice try. Even some recruits talk about their interest grew with them going to the B1G.
@@T4GSports no. He’s at Oregon cuz he family is happy there. He was a hell of a recruiter before coming to Oregon. Do your research casual 😂
He's commented many times, even before the move to the B1G, about how he and his family were tired of constantly moving around as he bounced between jobs and wanted to finally settle somewhere and felt Eugene was perfect for them.
Believe it or not, some people don't need to add another figure to their multi-million dollar salaries to be happy and Oregon has literally anything and everything he needs to win a national title, regardless of conference, if he's good enough. Hell, if anything it'd be EASIER for him to win a natty in a weakened Pac-12. Seriously, why leave?
Also, Mario left to join his alma mater and be closer to family. Slick Willy left because FSU was always his dream job. Helfrich got fired and Chip left for an NFL spot.
