So, does anybody know - how much does an AVERAGE citizen of New York city have to make to live in New York city, if he doesn't live in a cheap , sleazebag apartment? Not a rich person, just a regular citizen? or most of these people I am seeing either students or people that share an apartment (to bring the cost down)? I guess the typical jobs there that make money are businessmen, dancers, artists, supermodels, programmers, graphic artists, surgeons and politicians and rich people. the rest probably have to commute, going home outside New York city or in one of the poorer suburbs.
