Just want to mention my recommendation to anyone visiting NYC - take the Staten Island Ferry from Manhattan to Staten Island and back. You get some spectacular views of the NYC skyline and the Statue of Liberty and the best part of this trip is that the Ferry ride costs nothing. That's right, it's free and by far the best sightseeing bargain in NYC.
We’re just back from NYC & our fav things were Summit at 1 Vanderbilt, watching Wicked on Broadway & a doors off helicopter trip with FlyNyon - definitely recommend them as they were great! 🤩
@@SupriyaDsouza there were 6 of us so we had the whole helicopter to ourselves. There aren’t any doors on the ‘doors off’ ones & you’re seated due to your weight for balance - it was a brilliant experience
interesting but I can tell this guy doesn't care much about the infrastructure. -The Dakota -New York City Hall -Woolworth Building -Bryant Park Hotel -Grand Central Terminal -Hearst Tower -The Ansonia -St. Patrick’s Cathedral -Alwyn Court -Cobrin Building -Potter Building -Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine -The statues and monuments of Central Park and the list goes on.
Grew up about 20 minutes away from Manhatten when it was clean, safe and majestic... Now the liberals🦠 have DESTROYED 🔥 it... Thank you for some memories Sir ! 🙏
Hi Island Hopper. You did us good 👍🏾. Lots of controversy regarding NYC but your video made me feel good about living here. We live on Roosevelt Island which has fantastic views of NYC. You forgot out us it’s now a big tourist attraction due to the Roosevelt Island Tram which is a 🚠 big red cable car from East 59th street and 2nd Ave to Roosevelt Island. We have a big Cherry Blossom showing here during April, movie showing in the summer on the lawn, a small art gallery and lots of greenery for picnics. We also have 4 Freedoms Park. They used to hold viewings on the 4th of July but the fireworks will be on the west side this year. Anyway next time show our island. Ty for the great tour 👍🏾
Welcome to NYC, It’s my first time here, and it’s a nice city. I really love this trip. Looking forward to staying here for a long time to make new friends and family.
For sports fans or if you're looking for a concert, highly recommend Madison Square Garden. It's located right next to Penn Station. I'm a huge Knicks and Rangers fan. Tickets can be expensive, but great atmosphere and lots of history. They have lots of artifacts and pictures from past events like Westlemania, Billie Joel, Muhamed Ali, and of course, the Knicks and Rangers. Definitely recommend walking around before your game/event
Thank you for info! Im planning my vaca for Sept. 😊😊 Cant wait. Im going check out Subway Museum, looks interesting since im too scared to actually ride on one! Ive seen a few videos of people getting robbed 🤦🏽♀️
Hmmmm. Not a bad video but this is well maybe a list of do this if you are only into caucasian/non-cultural activities and want to spend some un-nessasary money. So I live in NYC and most my go to places are NOT in this list! Maybe I need to make some videos!!! Some of my suggestions: NYC ferry ( lots of destinations) $4, ferry to Goveners Island-$5 round trip, Roosevelt Island Tram (5.80 round trip), Time Out Market (Free), Ft. Tryon Park (free), Washington Square park to people watch (free), Harlem ( I live here), Chinatown (still interesting), Queens Night Market, Flushing neighborhood for Asian everything take the elevated 7 train for views, Jackson Heights neighborhood (most diverse neighborhood in America-eat here), SoHo and the Lower East side in general, free kayaking there are a few spots, also North River Lobster Company ($5 ferry food not included-this is still on my list)! There is much more but here is my short list and everything on my list is free or inexpensive!
Hey man, thanks for this video. I do have a question; what kind of id do I need to prove that I am a student? I am from Europe so I have no clue what the museums mean with "valid id"
