I see no one talking about the part we’re Steven sings reds theme from Pokémon
I love all the references here. You can see Steven's lion in the background, as well as the arm for the diamond robot, and the list goes on. Not to mention how smooth the sprites are. Being a fan for 5 years, I can say, I am really impressed with this!

Out of all the Pibby mods out there, Steven is the most interesting one for me. No other corrupted character spoke lines like Steven, it's like he has some sort of ability to speak phrases even if he's corrupted. That shows how strong Steven is when it comes to fighting off stuff

I feel like the entire concept of stevens songs having voice lines is them showing he is trying to fight the virus, as he said "grr, STOP IT" he could have very well been talking about the virus.

@@subtoundetected721 when he's says "grr, STOP IT" you can see a colored outline around the notes implying that he was trying to hold off the glitch, so Steven is either hella powerful or he isn't fully glitched

If you pay attention to the notes, you can see he tries to regain control (when they're black with color outline) and it seems the corruption statics or something to gain back control so he doesn't break free
If you pay attention to the melody, you can hear Cannon songs in general.

I just realized it might not be possible for steven to be pibbyized, because he has hella good powers for literally blocking himself from letting anythign touch him, he can seal himself in an airtight bubble and yet still be able to breath completely fine for like an hour in space, this dude is not getting that corruption.
The corrupting is 4th dimensional it may not be able to harm him but it sure as heck can use his body
And most concepts of pibbyized Steven have him resist it by going into his pink form but it’s only for a short while

@@RainIncorporated well...hes literally got a beeg bubble that has apparently tanked SO MUCH DAMAGE. I think that Steven could possibly just ride out the corruption by staying in the bubble.

This version its just perfect, smoth animations, good backround, references in the song, like the Red theme and the "here we are in the future" of the Steven universe future intro, the song its pretty good and the glitchy effects are so cool. The full version will be amazing, if they remaster the spinel sprite, because in my opinion its horrible, this mod will be the best version of Vs Corruoted steven
It seems as if in each mod the error fails him more, in the first mod he manages to free himself, in the second it is more failed and in this one, even Rose's shield has faults.

Why do I think 1:22 is my fav part so much?
I love how Steven is the only Pibby character that almost breaks free from the glitch. It's like Steven is so pure hearted and strong that he could save himself from anything. But sadly this glitch is just a tad stronger.
If you look at the bottom, you can see Peridot, Lapis, and Bismuth's gems sitting in the grass outside of the corrupted area. Makes you think, are they corrupted, or did they fight the corrupted people, and just poofed into their gems to recover and didn't get corrupted. It's all up to interpretation. I like to go with the latter possibility.

And for some reason pearl and amethysts weapons aren’t upgraded like they used to be, Bismuth upgraded pearl’s weapon into a trident and bismuth turned amethysts whip into a spiky whip

i believe the reason why steven seems the least corrupted is because in the show, he/rose quartz was a healer, so it might be possible that his gem tried to heal but couldnt keep up with the corruption

At 0:30 steven says “AAAA STOP IT!” Which means he’s trying to get back control and trying to fight the corruption to turn back to his normal self.
The sprites look way more cleaner than other mods

As a fan that dedicates apart of his life to steven universe this is amazing
Honestly, I wouldn’t rate this as high quality mod. But I would rate this kinda high quality mod. Here’s why:
First of all: Steven looks like the new(but old version) of the Corrupted Steven mod.
Second of all: I kinda like the new map! It’s pretty good.
Third of all: BF’s design looks like he’s gonna fight the Glitch Mob with his bare hands and die.
that’s all i guess.
But this a decent mod I would say.
And i have to say that dissapointingly he doesn't have a transformation from "This isn't a game" unlike all the other mods of it
@@michaellatner975 yes! I would love for them to fix this by adding some rage/humanity to this fallen hero. Like how he corrupts himself in the last episodes of Steven universe future and gains a touch of reality snd is able to fight back

It’s pretty obvious steven really doesn’t want to hurt anyone here. I get the pibby thing now. Contorting characters you grew up with into horrific shapes and twisting in ways that they shouldn’t. Damn this is actually a pretty terrifying concept.
