I love him so much. Every interview I see now, I really appreciate his openness, his intelligence, and his overall way of making a point. Yes I agree , his eyes are a HUGE distraction! , but as I get older I truly appreciate the artist that is Ville Valo. I will always support him and his endeavors! Definitely his older interviews are very English sounding. I think when he learned English he learned it with the accent but having spent much more time in America over the past few years it's sort of become a combo of Finnish, English and American.
I would say it was both. At one point it was deemed 'politically incorrect' to say English and the BBC started using British instead when describing anyone from GB in case a Welshman or something took offense at being lumped in with the English folk. But in terms of accents, if someone is actually speaking with an English accent, I would say it was ok to describe it as so.
@B9L3M right now they're working on a new album to hopefully come out in 2012. There's not much news being posted about them at the moment because they are without a record label, but once they get a new one, news will start being posted again I'm sure.
