The thing that sets this guy apart from other shoe reviewers is he's naturally funny and the way he reviews the shoe feels authentic thanks for this review btw.
They feel flat and somewhat snug if you have a normal to wide foot, because they are still a purpose drive skate shoe. The are designed to let you feel the board through the shoe, and the waffle sole is made to stick well to the board. They are snug so not slip around while doing the intense motions that tricks require. Honestly most people wouldn’t call them a comfy shoe for walking any distance or actually using for any other athletic activity. I still love em though!
Check out one of Rose Anvil's videos where he shows us nicely how animal skin layers are treated and full grain leather is the smooth outer part and suede is the fuzzy rough inner part. Pig skin is used in a lot of stuff and is known to be less durable and cheaper than cow suede or leather. But is looks really nice on those sneakers and I just bought a green pair too. Nice job bro.
have you seen the Vans Old Skool black/olive colour way? if not i think you should definitely look at them! one of the best Vans i've seen imo, keep up the good content man!
I have a similiar shoe by Goodman Brand it is Olive Suede Edge Low, whats great is that brand goes on sale at nordstrom its def worth it if on sale, made in italy too. 😁
Its been a while since I’ve had vans. I tried on old skool canvas recently. They felt great out of the box. I prefer the more premium suede material. Are they stiffer, thicker and harder to break-in compared to canvas? I have my eye on the pig suede - moss gray color.
if it hadnt been for the visual appeal of these they'd still be in the stock room and id be sticking to the comfy cush or ultra cush just for that reason.

no. i have a lot of free time, but would use absolutely zero for that.
