Make sure you spell it in katakana. Hiragana will get you into trouble, with Pachinko neon signs going bad. You know what’s funny? No one except you and I understand what we’re talking about here.

A microscope reveals interesting things. As a beginner I watched how a string gets stretched and moves in the slot while bending. Later I also found out why the open high e and B was started buzzing few months after I had filed perfect slots. Because of excessive bending up to 1-1.5-2 step bends the very end of the slot widened up and caused the strings to buzz. Same can happen at the bridge if the string is „pinched“ at the point where it leaves the saddle. Some saddles have the resting point of the string further away from the edge and then a slight conical taper. Those saddles have no buzzing problems if worn out a bit. But another interesting effect: on 1.5 step bends the string touches the upper edge of the mentioned V taper and the note jumps sharp. Not sharp enough to bother, but still…
Cheers! Have a good and sane year and keep the interesting vids coming! 👍🏼✌🏼

There’s an old Chinese proverb, that says, the devil is in the details.
What better way to look at the details other than to use a microscope?
I’ve been obsessed with microscopes since I was a kid. I have a bunch of them. At some point I started using the microscope for Guitar services, and I just never go back to the old ways.
This is not to say that we can’t do good work without it, I just love using it.
      Thanks for dropping by.

I've been obsessed with microscopes since I was about 6 years old. I have a whole collection of them.

@@GuitarQuackery 'Oh Boy', I Love them too and I show my Kids videos about nasty little invisible Parasites so they will keep their hands clean and out of their mouths at least but Nigella Sativa seeds aka "Black Seed" Tea will wipe out any Parasites including most Anti-Biotic resistant "Super Bacteria" and costs very little so there will be NO COMMERCIALS on TV for it, see? A famed Mohammad REQUIRED Black Seed for his Troops Daily consumption too. I only have one manual Microscope that my wife special ordered for my birthday once plus I'm fascinated with the well made waterproof but Affordable Levenhuk Binoculars in case you're interested in longer range optics that aren't expensive. They now have Night Vision versions too.
