i love typing feel of clicky switch :)) especially click bar sw but their noise seem to be too annoy to other people hope that some day i can find a switch can fullfilled my need without make ppl around me angry :)))
I'm adamant that I can tune my friend's Frog TKL to make it sing. It sounds a lot better IRL than in the recording. Once I fix a few things, I'll record a Frog TKL video separate from the others (like I did with the W1-AT and the F1-8X V2).

hi, im new into the hobby and trying to find a really proper board. i really appreciates that you show your config recipe and tells how it performs. i have question about the frog, is it really comfortable to use it daily as main board ?
Hey there! In my opinion, the Frog TKL really is comfortable, especially because the front height is so low. I don't use a wrist rest, and I never had fatigue using it as well as higher front height boards like the Glare TKL. I will say, however, that nowadays it's really easy to find a great board. Back when the Frog came out, it was really a game changer because the size of the weight, the quality of materials, all at a fantastic price. These days, the Frog is starting to be a bit outdated (but nothing wrong with it). What I mean is that nowadays, boards that cost way less than the Frog TKL can sound and feel just as good. I hesitate to recommend the Frog TKL to newcomers, only because of the tremendous value that cheaper TKLs have. But there's nothing wrong with the Frog of course! It's just that $100-$200 goes a VERY long way compared to a few years ago in terms of getting a fantastic board that not only looks and feels good, but sounds good as well.
@@HubertTheMad wow god damn, i didnt expect such kind reply. do you have any recommendations on other boards ? i mean the things you mentioned about height is something else to me, my mod006 by akko is pretty high and i use wrist rest to support my hands. and the other thing is i like clacky sound profile but pingy boards is a total deal breaker to me. but your frog is something else tho i gotta admit, its really crisp.
@@HITMAN80g no prob! Yep, the frog is great, even to this day. Honestly, all geon boards are fantastic. Hmm...what layout are you thinking of? TKL? Or it doesn't matter?
@@HubertTheMad nope, it matters to me. its either 75% or tkl. or something that have intact function keys (in normal layout, not side f keys or weird position). man this hobby is sure exhausting, even i attended keebs meet for a several times and trying out bunch of boards i still cant decide which one im gonna get for my perfect daily drive. my top choices are now its either jelly evolv, frog tkl, qk75, or zoom tkl and still dont know which one to go😆
All three are comfortable for me (someone that doesn't use a wrist wrest and has a floating hand-typing method), but the Frog TKL has the lowest front height, so for those that want a lower front height, I'd say the frog.
At the end of the day, preference is preference! As long as you're financially responsible, and you enjoy how your board sounds and feels, that's all that matters.

I like my Frog TKL but I had to put some different feet on to help with that spacebar thunkyness. Have the F1-8X v2 coming soon!
