      I think my most favorite thing is the dressing/stuffing with gravy. But the perfect bite is a combination of a little bit of everything.

    I enjoyed your nostalgic look at 50's Thanksgiving, it truly was a more family celebration then. My late mother was a nurse and one year she had to work on Thanksgiving, so she put the turkey in the oven before she left for work and the turkey was cooked by the time she came home for our dinner.
