As a BYU alumnus, I have to say I am very impressed with the class of the Texas fans! It is always a real treat to compete against a high-caliber team, especially when their fans and supporters are such good people.
Any team at anytime that puts up 300 yards in the air on a top 5 defense is still going to win the game. Texas still played with heart and my hats off to them. Hope they have a long and prosperous season. It was a great win for BYU and one of the better games of the week. As a BYU fan, and going to Texas for the OU game I think they have some of the best fans in CFB.
No love for the Lasike touchdown run? He was in beast mode that entire drive! He capped it off with a nasty straight arm on the MLB and running over a Safety, it doesn't get any better than that! :)
Im diehard Longhorns fan and I think we have a new rival "BYU" I wish they could join the Big 12 because this team is on the rise and I want some revenge # HOOKEMHorns
I thought that this was going to be a much closer game. NOPE! That is pure domination right there. Hill was a beast with his legs. But his throwing stunk! I'm glad he's getting much better with it. Fun, awesome game.
WIN OR LOSE I'D PLAY TEXAS ALL DAY, I talked to several Texas fans on Saturday at the game they were so nice and very respectful. I was very impressed. I wish I was tailgating I'd feed the whole crowd....VERY CLASSY.

Utah fan here...I just wanted to give serious respect to Jamaal Williams. He's an amazing running back and I wish he played for Utah. I hope nothing serious happened to his back at the end of the game. Does anybody know the injury status? I've looked for one but haven't found one yet. That coaching staff should've had him and Hill out of the game those last few minutes.
I say that was more of texas whipping themselves. The defense was horrendous. The tackling was that of freshman football. Not to take anything away from byu, because they did play good. .
Here is another sports anecdote. We don't call the MLB championship the "World Series" because we think it involves the whole world. It is named for its original sponsor the "New York World" a now defunct newspaper.
When"futbol" was invented by English speakers we already had "football" in the US so we needed another name for it. The English had a game called Rugby so the name was open there. Better question is why the whole world says football when their languages don't say "foot" or "ball" Now you know. Any more questions?
Well I have to say is BYU is a good team but I am going for the Aggies as the team that will be the best this season and why? because if BYU beats Utah the BYU goes up to Logan and loses then the Aggies will pretty much have bragging rights LOL lets just see the fans rush the field again LOL

I've been following the Cougars for 20+ years now. I have never ever seen them dominate the run like that before.

I'm a Saints fan and we've had Taysom for a while now but I want to see him and Williams together again this year! Can't wait and WHO DAT! 🏈
