Absolutely love this video. I visited Lochranza distillery only 2 days ago, and seeing this video that was recorded 9 videos ago is beautiful and amazing. Thank you. I will say the Distillery is a must visit for any enthusiast, the team are fab.
I came to this video after buying and trying a bottle of Arran 18 year-old scotch, which is probably the best scotch I've ever tasted (not that I've tasted a lot - I limit myself to natural color bottles only - no added caramel color).
Why was old Betty Two-Strokes given two casks of the precious liquid? She has much of the world's wealth at her disposal so gift giving should be the other way round. This is a very good, informative travel log and local industry video.
Never seen the entire process in a single room like that, from milling all the way to distilling. You'd think the stills would give off too much heat and negatively affect the fermentation.
