- In Asphalt 9, it usually takes thousands of Tokens to win a Grand Prix, but there is a way to get the guaranteed Key without spending a single Token in a Grand Prix.
"Sandbagging" is when a skilled Asphalt 9 Player deliberately get into Tier 4 or 5 in a Grand Prix, where it's much easier to come in Position 1 without spending any Tokens.

Now sandbagging doesn’t work because tier 4 on average contains 16 sandbagged pros
Problem is, you have to do the sandbagging perfectly. If you don’t, you will get too bad of a time to qualify, and if u go too fast u might get tier 2

So in the cr. 7 gp, you need to complete 3 conditions to qualify for q1, which means you have to atleast get a time of 1 minute 27 seconds as one of the conditions. I was wondering if you don't get that time and don't qualify for q1. Can you still pay tokens to get into gp

@@FURYBrenton some people did in techrules ( though you probably knew about that). But what I meant was that since iBelvga is a content creator, a lot more people will be more aware of this tactic, thus a lot more people will start sandbagging. Thus the GP's will be a total mess

they should match players according to garage lvl or reputation lvl
In one GP I also sandbagged, ended up in T5 and gues what... I had a whale that also sandbagged so after he saw what I can do with a 1* car he immediately stared up his car to 4*!!! xP
after I got enough bp's from the GP to star up my car to 2* the whale already had his Porsche at 5*.... I think T3 is the sweetest spot to be in GP if you don't have tokens...

1.08 This is the main reason why, because in tier 5 with 1 key almost will be one skilled player who got it(and you will on 2nd position)

no wonder I got into Tier 1 in GT Mk2 GP. but I still got 9th so guaranteed key. but sandbagging in Trion GP won't be very useful though since the rewards are very bad in Tiers 4 & 5 and you don't even get any bps.

Remove the keys on tier 4 and 5 and this will stop 🤔 i do lower times when I am not expecting to upgrade the car so it will be more balanced. However, sometimes i get people with 3 or 4 stars which are hard to beat

bro just do a bad practice time, than in Q you can make a super ultimate good time cuzz it doesn't matter you just have to qualify, after that don't do any practicing anymore cuzz if you'll do a good practice time after you already have qualified you will still end up in a better Tier cuzz the final groups are based on best practice time :P now you know, your welcome...

If you have pro skills & 10K+ tokens...(and A Beast car GP come...) Then you upgrade it and go for tier 1 or 2 high chances to you get the key...
Sandbagging is actually dangerous and you should aim for tier 3 cos aliens who sandbag will dominate tiers 4 and 5 and normal aliens will dominate 1 and 2

3 GP so far and was tier 2, 3 and 4. Most challenging was tier 2, never knew which place would end and was the most fun to play. Tier 3 and 4 you do catch a few aliens but where is the fun in that? I like the skilled GP, no packs, everyone with the same car

If you manage to tier 1, you can sandbagging because tier 1 at least had 10 players receive a key. You can won a lot of event pack and token

My rules to win gp car without tokens this is:
1.Play the practice at touchdrive mode
2.playing the qualifier round to become the 4th to 10
if you get easiest group you have more chances to get key
And i have 3rd position got guarantee key
is there possiblity we make bad time in qualifying rounds and didn't qulify for GP?
check the position in q1 of the 9th and 11th and try to make a time between them.

I liked d video only for d background music....
In fact ... tier 4 and 5 r for touchdrivers ... tier 3 for both ... 2 and 1 for those called "skilled" drivers (in fact most of those "skilled drivers" dont even know how start a simple real car) witch pretty sucks ... they should seperate them tier 1 to 5 touchdrivers and tier 1 to 5 for non touchdrivers.

Sandbagging is actually what lead me to become a pro. Lol. I wanted to have a chance at winning during the Jesko, so I did that. Was an average player constantly at top 50% for a year. But bcs I had a chance of winning this event, I ended up improving my skills so much that shortly after the event ended, I became a constant top 5% player and sometimes even top 1%. My sandbagging somewhat failed too, but it put me a position where I really only had 2 players that matched my then-skills, but they had better starred cars that I spent the entire time practicing my ass off until the last 2 hours before I submitted my final times.

if you get the key of the car can you use it immediately or do you still need to unlock the car
When getting the key you just unlock the car with that ANIMATION and the car is yours

Basically doing a bad (long) time by drifting the whole track, crashing, etc, & then getting in lower tiers. Only do this untill you get to the final rounds. Then it would be easy.

I haven't watched any of this yet, I'm going to guess that you're talking about sandbagging and if so if it's a horrible idea because that's what the actual high-level players do! T5 is the same as some T2 and some T3, but T4 is so much easier than T5!
