Quality of video lower than her usual videos and her band was shown definitely more than THE STAR of the show.They are great, but it was her concert. Lights also not for recording support. This is D-Funk at its finest . Great musicianship and vocal harmonies .Funk is all about an inner feel for the genre and less about showing off how many notes you can squeeze into a bar of music .Candy has these properties in spades and expresses them so fluently along with her stellar alto sound .

Saw Candy & co. last night in Tokyo. I've been listening since I first heard Lily Was Here on the radio and been seeing her live in Europe and Japan for nearly 30 years. Last night with the two guys making up the horn section was awesome. Just fantastic. Everyone in the Blue Note was on their feet and loving it. And Ulco Bed brought the house down with his guitar solo on The Climb. Do not miss seeing Candy and all these guys live whenever you can!
I really only pulled this up to hear Candy, my 9/1969 birthday buddy, but her musicians and vocalists are supreme! I mean, they are AWESOME!!! I have to see them live in person!!

LWH was written in 88 and released in 89, and comes, as much of the other good stuff, from the 80-s. The beginning of 90-s still had that inertia, but the music has already drifted more towards depression & dirty hairs (Grunge) and worse electronic music despite much better electronics. Creativity died. The worst thing - compositions became lazy and simple. Most of the best stuff played and exploited to date comes from the 1950-1980-s, regardless of the Genre. Subjectively judging, it was 1993, when that Great Degradation became obvious, at least to me. End of 00-s was a refresher with new names and interesting stuff, but then everything old was reduced down to niches and nerds.

Unfortunately my legs dont look as lusty good as hers do and the sax learning is hard going, I will never get that good on the sax but at least I will keep the neighbours umm.... cant find the word.

I'm not sure that's the Selmer. I can't make out any standard Selmer "S" on the neck of the horn on the curving octave lever. this one seems to have a forked configuration like on many non-Selmer horns. I did see that video in which she says she's saying goodbye, regretfully, to the Selmer. Her new horn with the antiqued finish looked just like this one.
