  • In this video Ian McCormack Discusses Who Has Your Heart?
    It is Biblically correct that we should love our God with all our heart, but who else have we given our heart to? Ian explains what God asks and expects of us and how this can not only impact upon our lives but also on the lives of other people. Ian explains this in easy to follow language but it can come across as complex, which is why we added simple illustrations to help visualise what Ian is explaining.

    Praise God, what a great teaching. Very helpful on how to live here before going home to the Kingdom. The Lord taught me that if you ever get confused or overrun by any trial to use the two greatest commandments as a fallback. Fallback onto the Love for our God and everything falls into place. Love Him wholeheartedly constantly and the trials He gives you will be a time to rejoice for our Loving Heavenly Father is refinig us in the furnace of affliction. Isaiah 48:10

    I just watched and listened and will do several more times as I get this to rewrite over my shortsighted thinking about what it means to be wholely given over to Jesus. The illustrations and your humble honest explanation really did TEACH me. I saw Jesus speaking to me, not you. I want this for my life more than anything. This morning I'm weeping as I sit quiet on my front porch swing asking Jesus to change me. I need to hear this often, because the cares of this world cover us in a soft layering of dust that hides the glory of the truth. Cleanse my dirty heart and mind sweet Spirit. This video is saved in favorites for constant reviewing. I'm sending to those that the Spirit brings to mind. Thank you Pastor Ian from Church Hill Tennessee.

    This is so clear and the visuals very helpful. I can see in my own life with my parents and siblings how a divided heart has such disasterous consequences within our family. I am going to share this with my church community. This has given me the clarity I have been asking and praying for. Thank you from my heart!

    Thank you. In my marriage God taught me to love, honor and serve my husband as Sarah considered Abraham as her Lord. That was a heart choice between God and I. My husband never knew of the conversation God and I had but he did know by the change in my heart towards him. This could happen I believe because of your description of Jesus having the whole heart my whole heart. The heart needs to have an ongoing inventory....

    After I gave my heart to Jesus, I was still plagued by loneliness because of my childhood. When it would come to get me, from some circumstance I was in, I'd go in my imagination to my favourite kind of place...which is for some reason walking along a railroad track in bright sun, enjoying the wild plants and occasional hints of human industriousness. I feel like only in this situation I would know for sure that I was not alone. Anyway, my faith would be growing perceptibly, if I paid attention to that thought. By the way, we know we are to take EVERY thought captive for King Jesus and His Father, by means of The Holy Spirit. When we do a good deed, we have given space for Him to blow through us unto Heavenly glory...but we have to let Him set it up so that it is in His perfect will. I'm not telling anyone else to go walking anywhere in particular, and there are no deserted railroad tracks near me at the moment. I choose NOT to be lonely, what more can I say. When you trust your heart to HIM, you never are. What are we here for? Did you not observe the example of The Cross? Your death as a martyr may or may not be required, but there will at least be some sort of weight that someone will unfairly put on you. Later they will feel bad about it if you are nice about it. They may or may not then choose to look for a way to be changed. This is our service to the One who died in our place of sin...and only if and when HE sets it up! Meanwhile all that is required is Micah 6:8, " He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."

    Thanks for sharing this is sound teaching and I thank God I saw this it's a pointer in the right direction. So glad you shared you testimony about how your mum was praying for you in the testimony of how God redeemed you from the jaws of death. The waves of God's unconditional love you spoke of too. I believe when God speaks to you it never goes away maybe forgotten at times but as GOD has promised, heaven and earth will pass away but my word will never pass away.
    Ian when you shared about Abraham's wife the Lord showed me His protection over Abraham's life it was very similar I felt so strongly that God is true to us and keeps His promises. So glad to 'hear' from you. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR BELOVED.
    Thanks also to those who were also able to share this video here. God bless you to and Praise and Glory to the Lord.

    Hmm. I left a response a couple of hours ago and it's already been removed. So I guess the only comments worth posting in your estimation are ones that support this FRAUDULENT TEACHING. Despite the fact that l came from several scriptures that supported my disagreement. Deceivers and deceived, huh? (2 Timothy 3:12-13)
    "GOD SPOKE TO ME" IN AN AUDIBLE VOICE IS NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT. Hebrews 1:1-2.: "In many and various ways GOD SPOKE OF OLD to our fathers by the prophets; BUT IN THESE LAST DAYS HE HAS SPOKEN TO US BY A SON, WHOM HE APPOINTED THE HEIR OF ALL THINGS, THROUGH WHOM ALSO HE CREATED THE WORLD." Today God "speaks" to us through his word. WHO is the Word? His Son Jesus (John 1:1-4, :14). Those who are born anew receive THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT, our comforter and constant companion who illuminates the word of God so that it's a light to our feet (Psalm 119:105).
    People are wishing that they had this "special relationship" with God like brother Ian, where He audibly has back-and-forth conversations with them in this audible voice. But if you're born anew (John 3:3, :7, 1Peter 1:3, :23) you have access to the Father through the blood of his son Jesus (Hebrews 4:14-16, John 14:1-6). People are yearning for "experiences." "I felt this," "l saw that," "I heard this voice." "GOD GAVE ME A PERSONAL REVELATION. "
    DOES ANYONE CONSIDER THAT THE ANTICHRIST WILL DO PRETENDED SIGNS AND WONDERS (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12) that will be the downfall of many professed believers? Ones who are led by wanting to have tangible, sensual experiences rather than walking by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7)?
    "If you tap into the source of love"? NEW AGE TALK THAT SOUNDS SO RIGHT BUT IS NOT SCRIPTURAL. SHOW ME THE SCRIPTURE THAT SAYS WE "TAP INTO THE SOURCE OF LOVE." Very similar to when supposedly spiritual people talk about tapping into an energy source or mystic form of power. There were fraudulent people in Collasae who deceptively claimed to have had experiences with angels who gave them access to God.
    I'm sure this comment will be taken down as well because it doesn't go along with the favored narrative.
    As I said before in my earlier removed comment, WHERE IS THE FEAR OF GOD? WHEN DANIEL, ISAIAH AND JOHN THE APOSTLE INTERACTED WITH HEAVENLY BEINGS THEY WERE STRUCK WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING (Daniel 10:10-11, Isaiah 6:1-5, Revelation 1:17). It certainly a casual, chatty event.

    • @Beth-ju7nb
      @Beth-ju7nb 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jose Dopwell: I don't think when Ian speaks of his conversation with God he necessarily means God spoke in an audible voice. I have conversations with God where I don't hear Him audibly but more as impressions on my spirit which I know is him, I'll ask a question and the answer appears ( not necessarily immediately ) and 'clicks' into place in my spirit and feels absolutely true and what I needed to hear, so I know it's him replying. Don't most Christians experience His speaking in various ways, not audibly, but they know it's him?
      So don't condemn Ian but listen to the message, it is definitely in accord with biblical truth.

    • @andysmom6156
      @andysmom6156 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I too don't hear audible sounds coming from the sky, but I "hear" promptings in my spirit, which are the Word of Truth...Scriptures. The Holy Spirit will indeed speak and come to you in thoughts that are ALWAYS backed up with Scripture. Our God does the impossible. Could He not speak to us in ways we understand. He has not left us comfortless. As you abide in Christ, you will receive His promptings. We just call it..."Speaking". It is good you are a guardian of Scripture bro, and as you hear from God, please share, because He will speak to you.

    • @andysmom6156
      @andysmom6156 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And by "tapping into the Spirit", well I am a branch and Christ is the vine and I am connected to Him. Jesus said apart from Him we can do nothing. So we must be able to attach and detach. I want to stay tapped in!!
