Parallels is better than fusion. Generally. Yes, you can run Linux and Windows in emulation (VMs) but ARM flavours. Yes easy enough, for distributions that support arm well. Asahi is bare metal on Apple silicon, it’s not there yet, but not many would want to replace macOS with Linux.
Gone from M1 with added 16 ram to new mini. Also have a Plugabke 3 monitor black box to have 3 monitors but only certain videos would play or had sound as M1 couldn’t handle I will use the plugabke for its USB a ports
I understand many games not workable on a Mac but I would love to know your thoughts on a Mac mini pro with upgraded ram running some higher end games . Thx!
I watched the replays of these Apple devices livestreams. Interesting expensive devices. I personally am not an Apple user so my comments will be limited with these. Still great informative information.
The argument I hear a lot is it’s ok the new Mini doesn’t come with WiFi7 since very few are running a WiFi7 network. Is there some giant list of Thunderbolt 5 peripherals out there some of us don’t know about?
Really? It's missing USB-A? You can't work out what to do about that, that involves a $1 adapter or Bluetooth? For an old standard rapidly being phased out.
Its not a big deal as I mentioned but how hard it is to include at least one USA A. Dongle hanging off of it is not a good look. But again its really not a big deal.
@@andrewmarcdavid I rarely use USB A anymore. But if it is stuck on the end of the device cable or on the flashdrive do you even notice? It makes the cable about a 1.5 cm longer. and you barely see it. More annoying is all the other forms of USB A micros. If you want it permanently but don't like the look, put it round the back. Better than putting up with a port that can never do USB 4.
Apple fanboys like you are hilarious. This thing is already overpriced, why the hell couldn’t apple include one measly little usb a port that probably costs them 2 bucks to add? Apple being greedy af again.

Who is here watching but already ordered his/her M4 Mac Mini? 😇
I like the initial setup part of 40 min - nice and relaxing hahaha. Great video
Awesome, thank you!

They changed the storage so now even the 256GB is dual nan, so the speed is higher and consistent.
Speaker is waaaaaaay better on the new models than the ones that preceded it.
During the tests the fan kicked in and was very noticeable?
Not at all. I did hear the fan at all so far
@@andrewmarcdavid thanks for the response. I was worried about the noise.
Watching the replay of the M4 Pro Mac Mini and enjoying it Andrew! 👍😁
Legend!
This has never happened before and here it's again!
Make you should get that checked out
@ Macbook Air M3 ;)
Thanks for reviewing the base model, seems the "influencers" got sent upgraded models.
No problem. And of course they did.
My pc is still ok. But regarding the Mac mini M4 pro specs, I will put aside 50€ each month and I'll get the Mac mini m6pro in 2 years.
Please share the link to Dell dock you mentioned.
Yes, that's the culprit. Thanks!

I won't buy such a thing without wifi 7. Prices are already coming down for really good wifi7, like the new Orbi.

If you wanted gpu why not get the 20 cores?? Strange choice.
