For those of you in here saying he isn’t disabled, He is 100% disabled. However, he didn’t let that disability stop him from becoming an amazing artist. From pursuing a passion. He faced odds some of us never could and faced them head on. He overcame the challenges and set backs. To say he isn’t disabled, is to take away from and belittle his talent, drive, and passion. So he is disabled, he just didn’t allow that disability to define who he is. He forged his own path. For that, I have nothing but true, heartfelt admiration for him.
@@ofox716 that makes sence, but generally if a dyslexic person makes progress at reading or a person with dyscalcula progresses in math you dont say theyre "not disabled" because that kind of minimizes the IMMENSE amount of work they had to put in to do something lots of people take for granted. Same goes for people with physical disabilities who work really hard to find ways to continue on and do things others can do. The message is good but "not disabled" is easily translated to "dont have it that bad" or "not that hard". Better to say so talented, or something that praises their work ethic specifically :)

@DBT1007 Skin has texture, pores & hair in those areas, but that's not what I meant by "clean" I meant the small pieces & line work are clean & crisp. Your figures move in many directions at once & have a lot of dexterity, whereas the elbow only rotates, that's why it's so impressive.

I didn't live there nor near around Temple Street, but I did end up there shopping with my family while he was on his work, and I bought something that I think was really cute and my mom kept that as a special item in-house. Love this.

This actually almost brought me to tears, my sister only has one hand and she can do everything I can but better, just to see so many people seeing someone with a similar "disability" and still doing everything amazingly just really hit me. It’s more disrespectful to try and misrepresent it as a “shortcoming” because it erases everything this man has achieved to be able to learn how to adapt this craft to make it accessible for him. All his trial and error and the difficulty he faced learning to adapt clay modelling for his disability is erased by trying to sugarcoat his disability by calling it a “shortcoming.”

He has a disability. The terms “disabled” and “disability” are not insulting nor are they disrespectful. It’s more disrespectful to try and misrepresent it as a “shortcoming” because it erases everything this man has achieved to be able to learn how to adapt this craft to make it accessible for him. All his trial and error and the difficulty he faced learning to adapt clay modelling for his disability is erased by trying to sugarcoat his disability by calling it a “shortcoming.”

True, i always see alot of beggars who are not even disabled, can work perfectly by just dk for what reason opt to beg while sending their kids to ask for money, not even food, just money. (Which ofc their parents would use for drugs and not on those kids) That's why it doesn't feel much good to help those anyways.
But this guy is the one who needs to be respected and deserves appreciation, despite not being much gifted by god he is so hardworking, may he get recognised more for the skill and will he has, instead of those perfectly abled ones who shamelessly become lazy without even having any disability. May god give him more of what he deserves. ❤
