Even though we all know Ezio is ranked 1, but Altaïr will always has a special place in my heart, there was nothing like AC1 when it came out.
Exactly, I still have the steel limited edition case sealed in a plastic bag with the postcards since 2007 when it came out on the ps3.
Altair will always have that special place in my heart so for me Altair will be number 1.
Fun Fact: The guy who voiced Edward Kenway in AC: Black Flag eventually became John Constantine on the CW's Flash and other DC related shows.

@@aaronkenyon7112---TBH I didn't know about Resident Evil. I never played any of the games. But hey thanks for telling me. Also Smith voiced Batman in the movie "Batman: Ninja." It's a pretty awesome movie. I'd totally recommend it.

Because all of the multiple choices can have her acting like if she was bipolar, which makes it harder to empathize with her, which wouldn’t be the case if we had a straight story instead of what we had.
That’s for kassandra, but what about the game? What does it have that makes it better than other Assassins creed games?(Despite not even having assassins in it), and last but not least, how could its gameplay be better than the others? And before you say that it’s a game more focused in fighting, then why is the combat from AC3 more enjoyable and smoother than Odyssey? And don’t even get me started with parkour, it’s the worst of the whole franchise by a long shot
@@Hiddenone8926 i really disagree with you having different choices will have of course some contradiction with Kassandra character and the story but it’s normal in such games we can see it in the witcher and other rpg games in odyssey i think they have done it well with really interesting and fun side quests that you don’t feel obligated to do, for me kassandra was an enjoyable character and charming with really good voice actress that did deliver the emotional, and the world of Greece and its mythology was good, what I dislike the most of odyssey was that i felt even if I played in evil walkthrough or good walkthrough the outcomes felt similar and i can change it quickly to the opposite outcome if i wanted also didn’t like that i have cut the enemy thousand time before he dies and the worst for me was that i can choose to be male or female it felt cheap and insulting for the player

And makes sense, given all the crap he had to deal with. I especially liked how consistent his character was from the ending of the main game going into the Dead Kings DLC - hitting rock bottom before starting to come back up again.

A simp put her that high. Think, she's just a gender swapped alexios, and the writing even shows this. She went to boys education, she is criticised for "comparing swords" with another spartan man. She is dressed in a man's clothes... literally she's a boy, yet if alexios was canon, this list would put them at the bottom of the list..... hypocrisy is common today.

Shay Cormac is a far better protagonist than Altair and Connor.
Ezio is the absolute best protagonist, with Edward Kenway coming in a close second.

Apart from Ezio being number 1, all of the other placements are dead wrong. The Frye twins over Bayek? Kassandra over Edward AND Altair?! My guy, what are you on?
I like Connor how story reminds me of Luke Skywalker. Just noble simple man has to leave home and go travel the world to face a great evil plaguing the land. Has to face enemies including his own father, and gets help from an old hermit who belongs in an ancient order thought long gone

Shay deserves more. He joined templars in order to guide the assassins into the right path. If he was not there . Ac 3 and unity would be a mess. And assassins will be considered as killers who destroyed cities and innocents

Edward is my personal favourite. He's a two-handedly guy (a good leader as a caribbean pirate and later became an assassin) he is hilarious and took the identity of duncan walpole (a former assassin) He'd been killed made him more badass.

#4-Arno (Assassin's Creed:Unity).
#5-Connor (Assassin's Creed III).
Kassandra at 2 is enough of a joke to illegitemize the video. And Ezio at 1... I get it but I don't agree with it. I get that there's a huge fanbase around him, my problem with him is that he had more games to his name for him to develop and get more beloved. Clearly an unfair advantage in many regards to all other protagonists. The animus not being able to load 1 ancestor's memories once they are pregnant or get a woman pregnant have been thrown out the window long ago. So let Altair, Connor and Edward have more playtime through main entries in the series... do you remember you were still playing as Edward WHILE he had a daughter already?

If we really want to do this right, the Frye twins need separate rankings, and Aya, Adewale, Alexios and Haytham should be included as they are playable protagonists in the main series. Ezio evolves too much to have only one entry.
Why didn't Ubisoft make Arno meeting Shay in person for finding out he killed Charles Dorian.
Arno got past revenge a long time ago. He isn't ezio. I think it would damage arno's character growth if he suddenly wanted to kill his father's killer. I mean, he wasn't even that bothered about killing Germain, who was responsible for the death of the father figure Arno knew the longest.

Altair has to at least 2, I get everyone like Ezio the most but Altair started it all, was master assassin by the age of 24 and rebuild the order. Kassandra and Edward are great, but they are not Altair.

People overrate Edward to be honest, Black Flag is one of my favorite games in the series and I enjoyed every second of it, but I can safely say I'd put him under Ezio, Bayek and Shay in terms of how the story was told in the game
