That's kind of beautiful how simple it is. The flair has a much longer lever and I've seen people put quite a bit of elbow into pulling a shot on them so I'd be curious to see how this turns out. Maybe it's using a much smaller diameter so less force is required?
Hi there! In general, espresso brews at 9 bars of pressure, which is really high and it means a lot of pressure is required. We will speak about it in details in our review, we just need some time to test it and share a confident feedback 🤍☕️
@@ourcoffeeshelterSo Pressure = Force/Area. You can increase pressure by either increasing the force or decreasing the area so smaller baskets are useful for machines like this.
Looking online it's using a 51mm basket.
51mm basket -> ~2043mm2 area
9 bars -> 0.9N/mm2 pressure
0.9 * 2043 = 1838N force
From looking at that picture I'd judge the lever provides ~1:4 mechanical advantage (from the pivot, distance to piston : distance to handle)
So to create enough force you'd need to press:
1838N / 4 = 460N = 47 kgf (kilograms of force)
For an average 100kg person they're putting roughly half their body weight into it. So a bit of elbow is needed, but that doesn't seem *too* bad I guess.
That's the theory anyway, I'd love to hear how you find it in practice!
Is it better than the ROK?
@@thomasroberts6008In which world does an average person weigh 100kg though? I like how the other measures are so exact and this is just a engieneer's wild approximation 😂
@@FLUEGELSCHRAUBE I bought an obese friend from Weber Workshops as an accessory for the Brua
Omg look so good
👏🏼☕️🤍
Just as I was about to order a flair 58... I find this!
Niiice! But too expensive. I'll take a Flair Neo Flex for $99 and add a gauge. But that's a really nice looking and simple device.
Can’t wait to see this one!
Stay tuned! ☕️🤍
Ekstra ❤😊
Dat tamper looking sus
Like a b-plug
It's just a tamper man. It doesn't look like anything else.
Where can I buy like this.
Video with this thing in action, please 😍

Hi there! Feel free to check the discription. You can find it on the top corner while playing the video on the three dots 👆👉 (•••)
Hi ..can you help me in buying a espresso machine for home
How much bar pressure machine is good
It looks kind of good but I don't want to be drinking coffee made in aluminium. That's why I don't have a Moka Pot.
Should have followed through to see how u do the whole thing then show coffee when done
How much is it?
How much does it cost?
You know your Latin American background kicks in when you read “bruja” instead of “brua” 😅
