I think the simplicity of this song makes it all the more touching. It always makes me tear up. Chen's part in the bridge also made me falter. I don't even know why... It reminds me of a long-time friend talking about our memories. Like a chat that starts with "Do you remember when...?" And Baekhyun's "don't wanna be out of time..." was my favorite part. I aways think Baekhyun puts a lot more importance on the emotion he wants to convey rather than thinking about how he can sing his parts easier... He goes loud when he thinks a punch is needed, but always chooses to go soft for really emotionally quiet moments. His vocal coach (Onestar!) said that rather than working on technique often Baekhyun actually goes to him to study songs and talk about the emotion that is within a song and how he can better communicate that.
After the way you became so emotional at Chen’s singing from his voice alone (again!), without knowing the lyrics, I am anticipating more than ever your reaction to Chen’s full album April and a Flower. Chen is the first Exo member in Korea to go solo. He said he most wanted to be able to convey the emotions of the song well. Their single digital release this yr (more like Xiumin's gift before enlisting) Xiumin actuly has a Station song "You" released 2 days after his enlistment and out here is already 7th June, exactly one month in the military and as trainees they couldnt use phones so he prolly didnt see the comments. pls check it also if you have time. Another EXO-CBC ballads are Cry, In this world, Diamond Crystal. They also performed a classic song "As I Live" There are live versions of Papercuts too. Xiumin had a chance for special CBX tour before enlisting.
