In the beginning Nanowar of Steel did classic metal songs parody covers like "The number of the bitch" and "Master of pizza" or funny metal covers of existing songs ("I'm heavy"). After a while they started writing their own songs (but they like to put a lot of references, like the Cranberries one in Norwegian Reggaeton). They've always been a comedy band, last year they even made their fan base believe that they had turned into a pop band for money and success, releasing parody pop songs for a few months, just to troll everyone.

You should do a reaction or look at Barbie, Milf princess of the twilight. It is in English and it is also very funny. Nanowar of Steel have been together and have been producing music and videos for 18 years. And no, they don't do serious things. I think that is one of the great things about them.

Knowing in advance that in Norway they love so much black metal, this made me LMFAO for quite a while. Loved it keep up with the good work lads!

Honestly, not withstanding the hilarious text, Reggaeton mixed with Metal is awesome, I want more!
Amazing stuff! That could almost be Norway’s Eurovision entry this year. It’s clipping at the heels of Finland’s 2006 Eurovision entry (Lordi), in terms of pure ‘more is less’ type marketing genius!!

Actually this year Nanowar of Steel tried to enter Eurovision as rapresentant for S. Marino. The tiny Republic of S. Marino held auditions to choose the singer/group to compete in this year's Eurovision and Nanowar showed up in their most ludicrous pink wigs with the most utterly hilarious parody pop/metal song. Everything is documented on TH-cam, just check for it - and if you do it, you could also look for their video about the conquest of Liechtenstein, because they just love all those tiny European nations...

And than I noticed that she was a Gargoyle was my original introduction to Nanowar and that happened purely after misspelling Manowar in the search (Manowar being old school power metal band of great fame).

Keeping in mind that one of Nanowar's performers (I won't tell you which one) is a world-class theoretical astrophysicist. The song is hilarious, beautiful, and chock full of ass-tronomical references. My kind of education.
Eskimo Callboy changed their name to Electric Callboy. Jack Black said in an interview that when he tried to do serious music it just wasn’t as good. I imagine the creative energy stems from the same place.

First: when there is something brilliant and maybe even ironic in the world, you can be sure that in 90% of cases it comes from Italy.
Second: subtitles must always be used with Nanowars; already in this way, however, at least half of the puns are lost because they refer to Italian culture and puns & word-jokes in Italian (such as falegn-amen in Vahallelujah). For example, here with the English subtitles the lyrics in Spanish are also well understood and the fun doubles.
Third: you will also find the songs of their collateral project "Bardomagno", in medieval style and with ambitions to revive feudalism and the emperor. Of that I suggest "Cerveza y latifondo", but always remember the subtitles!
Fourth: next nanowar song, Barbie milf princess of twilight!
