The bedroom door accessing the backyard is ideal for a short term room rental. You can put a lock on the other door to block access to your home. Thats what I would do with that room.
I like the 2nd house with the exception it doesn't have a basement or so it appears, but I like it the space and everything. I also just wish that the backyard was fenced off.
I THOUGHT THAT HOUSE #1, WAS OKAY. I DIDN'T LIKE THE BEDROOM WITH THE BACK DOOR. THE BATHROOMS SHOULD HAVE BEEN UPGRADED. THE FURNACE IS OLD, AND WHEN YOU HEAR THE DRIP DOWNSTAIRS, THERE'S A PROBLEM. HOUSE #2, THE FLOORS SHOULD BEEN REPLACED, THE BATHROOMS ALSO SHOULD BE UPGRADED I DON'T LIKE ALLEY, PERIOD. I DO LIKE THE KITCHEN AND THE LAUNDRY ROOM, AND THATS IT!
For when your adult children have to move back home until they get on their feet you make it very uncomfortable and minimal access by giving them the basement 😂😂
@@bigvalley4987 Thank you for your reply. Four of my colleagues who each happened to be from Chicago mentioned the extreme weather as the reason for needing a basement. I was seriously considering moving to Chicago until they mentioned the tornadoes and be sure to have a basement.
Thanks for sharing this video and showing us the various properties available.

I like the first house, the basement is good for family functions and good size backyard 😊
$499k for an unfinished house. It’s getting bad out there guys and gals.
I doubt that it will sell for that price, you can find a fully rehabbed home for less than that.
@ oak lawn is a decent location. I get it, but sheesh.
Thanks for the tour! I like the second home better. Subscribed.

I agree and as someone who’s had water in her basement before it’s definitely a problem like a busted pipe or something
A little slower camera movement
The second home needs a straight up remodeling. The house got potential. Definitely need Landscaping and a privacy fence in the backyard.
My neighborhood. Actually you are on my block lol 😂
I reside in 🎉Seattle. Why is a basement preferred in Chicago?
Entertainment and more space.

Storms and tornadoes to boot. Shelter under literally.

Not a home, but a tax trap.
Haha, you told the truth.💯
2:03 That's the enclosed back porch. That is not a bedroom.
Don’t like the last big house, especially a crawl space, no, no, no.
