This happened somewhere in alternative universe, where USSR never got betrayed and turned into a revisionist state by hand of Trotskyite Khrushchev and thus never got got into the path that led into undemocratic dissolution in a first place. Stalin never got stroke/assasinated and Stalin and rest of Marxist-Leninists stayed in power and secured better tommorow for USSR and all its people, and USSR stayed on its technological development path and kept staying as number 1 super power in whole world, and later liberated world from global Capitalists oppression by spreading word of Marxist-Leninism each and every corner of the world which sparked new revolutions after revolution, thus putting end to the global dictatorship of Bourgeoisie class, and in the end all those newly formed Workers & Peasants Socialist Republics joined the Soviet motherland and became one big collective society, and world was finally at its peak and later went to spread word of Marxist-Leninism even to space, to stop imperialism even far far away from earth with fires of revolution.

There are a lot of unnecessary details in uniforms and equipment for the Soviet style. Too tall and angular tanks, the USSR loved the technique of low stature and smooth forms. Even in the world of Warhammer 40k, Soviet engineers would have lowered the Leman Russy and rounded the corners. The helmets of the soldiers are rather American and not Soviet, SSH-40. Officers' uniforms are more British than Soviet. A fur collar on a uniform, while indoors, can immediately be sent to the scrap, this is an unacceptable luxury, not only for a Soviet officer, but even for a dictator.
Its just enemy's face - ugly, aggressive and mix of patterns of evil empire, like British, Roman, and Nazis, with own style in base. Enemy's image must be formidable, intimidating and fearsome.
